  1. Tuggers, I am so enjoying reading your posts. We will leave for this cruise Dec. 6th when you get off.

I also had tried the Voltaren Gel. But for me it didn't help my knees at all. My knees have been bone on bone for a long time and I tried a few series of Euflexa injections which lubricates and cushions the joint. Initially it helped a lot for a very long time but the last injections didn't help so I had total knee replacement in June and will have surgery on my other knee after the cruise.

Until recently I was still able to walk OK as long as I didn't overdo it. We have booked 4 excursions, one on each port and a Luau on Lahaina so I hope I will be able to get around OK. I want to be able to enjoy getting around the Islands since this is our first time in Hawaii but I will rely on my cane to help with that. We booked the tours with Robert's Hawaii on his website gorabbitgo.com which got some good reviews on Cruise Critic. Since we booked 4 tours, it was a special rate of $135 for the 4 tours.

The one that I buy in Mexico is called Volfenac Diclofenaco Gel and the most I have paid for a tube was 2.50 but I normally buy it for 2.00 in Algadonis...It really works great for me...If you are allergic to asprin, you can not use it...

  2. My minutes are up! 90 last no time. Mayb I'll find someone who is not using theirs! 200 can't come soon enough for me.

They are right about the cream. And it is now availale in the states, with a script, and is expensive. And the active ingredient is only 1.0% while what you get in Mexico is 1.6%. But I've never gotten it for $2. I usually pay $7 to $12. It is so worth it!!:D

I get it in Algadonis (sp) when I go to the Dentist...its just a few miles from Yuma, AZ...I have found Meds are 1/4 the price of what you would pay in ports in Mexico...Ensenada is usually less expensive than Cabo or Puerta Vallarta...

Do you know if you will be able to get off in Ensenada?

    Bye For Now!

  5. Just got off a NCL cruise this last month....and leaving on a Celebrity in 12 days....bigest difference...men do not need any type of Jacket or dress slacks....although all seemed to dress nice....Food was exellent...so was everything else...Best HC cabins of all lines...I've done over 100 cruises. Were looking forward to the no smoking policy in the Casino on our up Coming cruise...

  6. Big deal on the perks...I'm leaving on a 2 week cruise to Hawaii on the Century in 3 weeks....I'm elete because of Royal Carribean....I get 1 bag of laundry done for free....Honestly I'd rather have a laundry room....I get a free drink every night....but we get a beverage package on the deal we got with Century...I get some free minutes on the computer....I guess I will be able to check to see how much junk mail I can delete...Perks aren't that big of a deal...Being a first time cruiser on Celebrity will be you best perk...you will see everything through Rose Colored glasses....
