Your warmer weather dresses will be fine. Just get a black sweater to wear over.

We just did B2B in Japan and we got our new seapass the night before, and were free to leave the ship for the next day when we chose to, and then we came back a few hours later.
It was all seamless.
So, I guess it depends on the port and the country? (and the ship?)

We will be on ship (Au and NZ) for a month and in Auckland, Melbourne, Uluru and Sydney for overnight stays.
What are the "must buys" we should plan to buy?

Oliver,
It was great fun to review through your "not really live"! We had a great time touring around with you and Birgit!
We are now preparing for our adventures to Australia and New Zealand next month!

Has anyone experienced the "improved " menu promise via video by the CEO of Celebrity I October? Supposedly improved offerings, better choices, return of everyday menu, etc? Is it really improved with more variety?
Thanks

We have standard wi-fi on upcoming Australia cruises. Can someone with recent experience comment on how well it works vs. upgrading to premium? We don't stream. Only email, Facebook, etc.
Thanks

Can anyone comment on earliest arrival at LHR and cost of Princess transfers?

Where do I find Smart Switch on my Galaxy phone?

I'm not sure how many know. When I go to my cruise planner, the only options I have are for whole-cruise packages.
If I recall, you could by a day plan (24 consecutive hours, starting when you first activated it), but I also recall that being pretty pricey for just 1 day (especially if you only were going to use it for a short time that day). I believe the only way you can have a set number of minutes to spend is via a Captain's Club benefit.
I don't think there is any way to selectively upgrade. You upgrade for the entire cruise (or the remainder of it) or you don't.
If you just want to check in from time to time, your best bet may be to just go to a decent place on shore. Any crew member likely can tell you where.
Thanks. Yes, we plan to use our wifi on shore. Just curious if we want to check on sea days.
We are Elite so curious what that will get us onboard? Anyone know?

What are the charges to use on board Wi-Fi if you don't buy the full sailing premium package?
Thanks

Can anyone relay the current price for a soft drink (coke, Dr. Pepper) (on Edge if different)
Thanks

Prices there could be much higher than on board the ship.
Wow! Really? For soft drinks?

In Yokohama, is there a walking distance store to buy sodas, etc either prior to boarding or getting back off after boarding prior to sailing?
Thanks

Yes. We are doing b2b, and days before and after, so 29 days or so. Right on the cusp, but we'll pass.

What are you hearing about getting the Japanese encephalitis vaccine? We are doing b2b so will be in Japanese almost a month, but only in rural areas on shore excursions.

Does Celebrity have a way to wait list for sold out excursions?
Thanks

3 nights pre cruise.
Thoughts on Grand by Sky ?
Close enough to Harbour?
Or better thoughts?
Thanks

With the 4 MDR on Edge, if you have fixed dining, do you stay in one of the 4 dining rooms with same staff?
-
We will be on an Edge class ship for the first time next winter. We see a specialty dining option for "Dinner on the Edge " on the Magic Carpet. Can someone provide more information on this? Is it a special menu? Or are you just paying extra for sitting on the Magic Carpet?
Thanks

We did Chef's Table several years ago and enjoyed it. However, in considering whether to do on our upcoming cruise, if the menu is the same, not sure that is interesting to me. Is it always the same, on all Celebrity ships?
Thanks

Will be in suite for first time. Trying to understand how dining in Luminae is organized? Are there shared tables? Can you have same wait staff each night? Can we reserve a late dining time?
Thanks

It's called "Room Service." 😁
Joking aside, is there a specific reason that you'd want/need a microwave in the cabin?
Warming bean bag like back or feet cushion.
Port side vs Starboard? NY to UK via Greenland and Iceland?
in Iceland and Greenland

How important on this itinerary? Seems like important as land will always be on the port side of the ship.
