My wife and I would really like to go on a Mediterranean cruise do to scheduling it would have to be in October or November. I am worried about the weather, what is the Mediterranean like during these months?

How do you get the power strip past security, I thought they confiscated them.

Has anyone used a multi usb charging point on Royal Princess? My wife and I are curious. From both cell phones, to our go pro, to her iPad, trying to charge all of our devices can be tricky. Was thinking of buying a multiple usb charger to accomplish this. Are they allowed on board?

Stateroom delivery would be nice! It is so heavy to carry!

Hi! We are considering a Princess cruise for the first time; always cruised with RCCL in past. Does Princess allow passengers to bring soda or bottled water on board at embarkation?

Hi! Did you notice if the Serenade has the Freestyle Coca Cola machines in the Windjammer or elsewhere on board for those who purchase the soda package? Also, did you try the Rita's Cantina?
Thanks! We are sailing in less than 90 days and are super excited! :o)

Wonderful reviews and photos! We are cruising the Serenade in March and cannot wait! We do have one question for you... Did you notice if the Serenade had the freestyle Coca Cola machines in the Windjammer or elsewhere on the ship?
Thanks so much!

My wife and I were there 9 years ago on Voyager, we are considering doing a cruise on Allure, will she dock here??? It will be kind of neat to see what was built, 10 years ago there wasn't much of anything there.

Thanks for the info on Allianz. We are past the final payment date that RCCL set. Can't recall the exact date but it was earlier in October.

Thanks for the info so far. Our policy is through Allianz, not RCCL.

Do what works for you... lanyards are great, but here is what we do...
When DH and I cruise, we ask to have a hole punched in a corner of our SeaPass card (obviously not over the magnetic strip) then we put it on a key ring with one of those flexible coil wristbands attached. That way we can wear it around our wrists instead of on a lanyard.

My Mom and I are booked for a cruise in January and she recently injured her back and is unsure if she will be able to go as she is likely going to need surgery and PT; we unfortunately had both just made final payment to RCCL and booked our shore excursions. Bad timing!
We purchased trip insurance, so I am sure if she can't go, her doctor will be willing to fill out the forms so she can get her air and cruise fare reimbursed. Her spouse would be able to provide care for her, so I am assuming that would not allow me to get reimbursed. So, what happens now? I assume that since RCCL has already been paid for the whole cabin, they would still allow me to cruise solo; can anyone confirm? Alo, what if someone else wanted to travel with me in her place - my DH or a friend; can her portion of our cabin be transferred to another person? We are about two months out from the cruise date now if that makes a difference.
Any help would be great! Thanks!

We are considering booking a pre-cruise stay & transfers through RCCL in January 2017 and understand we would be staying at the Hilton Caribe. Is the hotel in good shape? Are there things to do nearby? Grocery/Sundries shopping nearby? How easy is it to tour OSJ from here?
Thanks so much for any advice!

Nice video! I am cruising Jewel in January and really enjoyed your footage!
On Board Activities - Painting/Crafting/Scrapbooking
in Ask a Cruise Question
Posted
Hi! My DH and I have cruised multiple times on Princess (Royal) and Royal Caribbean (Voyager, Jewel, Vision, and Serenade) ships. None of thee ships offered a lot of activities outside of bingo, trivia games, and typical poolside games on sea days. There was one crafting class on the Royal (making sugar skull masks) and one basic scrap booking class on the Voyager). Does any one have suggestions for a cruise line or a particular cruise ship (maybe some of the bigger ships?) that offers more in the way of crafting or other interesting on-board activities that we could explore?
We love to cruise, but I would love some more variety on at sea days!
Thanks so much for your thoughts!
