For your itinerary (6 AM to 6 PM), I would not recommend it.  Epcot opens at 11 AM and you have to be back on the ship no later than 5:30 PM.  So, you probably have at most 5 hours at Epcot.

Epcot actually opens at 9:00 most days. The World showcase opens at 11:00, but rides are open at the earlier time. I agree that it really isn't much time and a lot of effort is spent with not much in return...

I've watched some utube videos and noted that people were just sitting in chairs drinking or eating-not that there's anything wrong with that😊 Do you have enough time to walk on the beach and explore the areas?

Last time we did it you had about an hour at each stop, so I'd say yes to your question. Coconuts was nuts. The first stop has changed since we went. It looks really nice and has a lovely pool.

Has anyone done the Cozumel Bar Hop? If so how was it?

Yes - It was a lot of fun. Very well done and you get to see "the other side". We have it scheduled for December. I would suggest going to their website and checking it out.

Cozumel is easy to do on your own - you do not need to take a ship excursion.  Taxi fares to the popular tourist spots are posted on a board near the cab line for your peir - prices are in US dollars (no need for pesos) and cover up to 4 passengers in the cab (so pair up with others from your roll call and save $$ for more margaritas!).

As an island most of the attraction involves the water or the beach.  Do you want to snorkel?  Scuba? Fish? Swim with the dolphins?

Do you want a quiet beach for relaxing, or a lively party amospere?  All inclusive or pay as your go?  Check out Paradise beach, Mr. Sanchos, Nachi Cocom and others.

Or maybe try the Cozumel Bar Hop Tour and visit some fun and funky bars and see the wild side of the island visited by far fewer tourists.

We have done the Cozumel Bar Hop and plan to do it again in December. It's a lot of fun, and I really don't even drink much! The bars are unique beach bars that you can pretty much only see on this tour. You'll have a wonderful time, not matter what you decide. It's a fun port.

We just returned from 10 days at WDW and it is a FACT that only one of our three fast passes could be for a tier 1 ride.  Possibly this restriction is relaxed during off-peak months.  And yes, we could and did obtain fast passes for Avatar and Slinky Dog (neither of which is in Epcot). After we used the first three passes additional fast passes were available for all rides at kiosks or smartphone using the Disney app.  The app also listed up to date wait times for every attraction.

Would never consider doing the excursion.  Too expensive, too much travel time and too little park time.  Better off sailing from PC and doing a pre or post cruise side trip to WDW.

  6. I actually liked the new process in the dining room. The food came quite quickly. Even the coffee! We did have a stellar wait staff team, which may have been the difference.

We are all such creatures of habit and have trouble with changes. To me, If I'm lucky enough to be on a cruise I shouldn't sweat the small stuff.... :)

  7. Sorry you were disappointed. We just returned on 3/1 from a 5 night sailing on the Independence. I guess I'm just not that fussy. Our wait staff and room steward were great and I have no complaints about the food. Hey, I didn't have to cook. My only complaint was the lack of waiters in the pool area. Hence the bars were backed up. We had no idea it was a "Steelers cruise". My son-in law was over the moon. (He's from Pittsburgh). I didn't find the ship untidy... Just my 2 cents.

  8. Do all Royal Caribbean ships have the free style soda machines now?

No they don't. Not even the ones in the same class, We have been on the Freedom of the Seas, which did, and are booked on the Independence of the Seas and it does not. Perhaps if you say which ship your cruising on someone can answer if does or doesn't.
