I am curious as to how you did your planning for excursions, tours, etc.  Did you do it all before departure, or are you doing it as you go?

We are considering a cruise that includes Dubrovnik, Kotor, Taormina, Monte Carlo. Unfortunately, the only available time that fits both our schedule and the cruise schedule is in August. We know it will be quite warm, but what should we expect regarding crowds?

We are considering a cruise from Amsterdam to Lisbon. We are wondering what we should expect as far as weather and sea conditions are concerned. We like traveling in September, but have not been in this area during this late September early October time frame. Any advice or experiences are appreciated

When Oceania lists Amalfi/Positano as a port (with tendering), is tendering provided to both towns or just Amalfi?

I did try to search this without success. Thank you for any information you may be able to provide.

It has been a few years since our last Oceania cruise, but I remember tourist information and maps available as we arrived in each port. Is this still true. We will be on Marina and will DIY in some ports. We have done a lot of research, but those tourist maps are always helpful.

We will be in Cadiz on All Saints Day. I know many things will be closed. I am wondering if the tourist information will be closed as well. What local celebrations or customs might we expect to see during our visit? Since it is both a holiday and a Sunday we are open to any suggestions for our day.

I have truly enjoyed your report. You may be singularly responsible for us making a change from a Danube cruise to a Provence cruise for our first river experience.

I am wondering about the amount of time spent in being transported to the various excursions and the number of people on the average tour. Approximately how much bus time was involved in most ports and how many people were allotted to each guide.

We are looking for suggestions for a guide for both the Alhambra and Granada. We have looked at Spain Day/Top Day, but are wondering what other options might be available. We are a group of six and would prefer a private tour. Thank you for any suggestions you may have.

We are trying to make choice between staying in Cadiz or venturing to Seville. On another day of the week we would most likely choose Seville. Since it will be a Sunday, I am curious as to whether we will travel to Seville only to find many things closed.

We will be cruising from Barcelona to Lisbon in late October through early November. What should we expect in terms of weather. What type of clothing is suggested. Thank you so much for any help you may be able yo offer.
