We're traveling on the HAL Nieuw Amsterdam that will be in Dubrovnik on Sept. 23. We'll be accompanied by many other cruises as we are one of 5 ships in port that day:) We'll be taking a taxi to Old Town as you've recommended so we don't waste any time-we want to see as much of this beautiful city as possible!
How far of a walk is it from the Pile entrance to the cable car if you're walking outside of the wall? I'm trying to decide whether we should walk the whole wall first and then head back to the cable car or walk from the Pile entrance to the Ploce gate, exit for the cable car/lunch etc, and then finish the remainder of the wall.
