Great comments and tips that are much appreciated.  I'm going to hold off on pre-ordering it until we get on the ship.  They are all Pepsi products (we tend to lean more towards Coke) so I'll see how much of a protest I get from the boys about the free options then go from there.  Might make more sense to do buy as you go so that I can also regulate some of the extra sugar (and calories).

Sailing the Paradise in May with my 8 & 10 year old sons (first single mom cruise - oh boy!) and considering the bottomless bubbles package for them.  Does anyone know if the Paradise has the self-service fountains?  I remember seeing the self-serve beer machine but not sodas.

Assuming it does not have the machines, how easy (I know that is relative) was it for your kids to get their own drinks at the bars for the duration of the cruise?  I do NOT want to be the one in charge of getting a bartender's attention because they cannot get served.  I'm sure service is easy in the dining rooms as the server would just be the one to take care of it - or does the bar staff also get soft drinks for the table?

It isn't going to break the bank but ultimately if it is more of a hassle, I'll keep the $90 and just buy as we go or let them choose where to spend it (which will probably be in the arcade).

Question about boarding in Tampa. We are Platinum but received a boarding time of 11:30-12:00. The boarding passes show PRIORITY and list out our Platinum status. Does this mean we cannot show up? Should we show up earlier as you did and just flash our priority passes? While I would love to get on early (so my two sons can get a little bit of a pre-tour before the chaos), I also don't want to stand around and wait for an hour with two hyper kids!

We haven't cruised since before kids so it has been 6 years now and I'm itching to get back on. Any info would be much appreciated as we board in two days!! :D:D:D:D:D

Carnival's response when I called was that they do not share that information as activities vary by ship and are subject to change.:rolleyes:

I'm sure I could call back and get another response as inconsistency seems to be their new policy. It wasn't this bad when I was a regular cruiser pre-kids!

I just wanted to confirm which activities were available (I.e. Karaoke, scavenger hunts) and if there was a captains dinner on the first sea day.

I'll try posting in one of the upcoming roll calls to see if someone can bring back the info for me - last time I cruised there were several posts with menus and fun times but the zydeco site seems to be outdated and I couldn't find the fun times for this cruise.

If you have any info - I'd appreciate it!

I am coordinating a family cruise on 5/17/2018 and wanted to see if anyone has or can point me to a copy of the fun times and dinner menus.

This will be my first cruise since having kids and I cannot even begin to tell you how happy I am!
