  1. MA, if our group was any indication of most seatings, I'd say go for it! Our table was made up of a wide variety of people from different experiences, and most everyone jumped in to the group dynamic, sharing the good time. If you do decide to do it, I hope you have a great time, and enjoy the experience!

Thanks - I think I'm going to. It sounds like a lot of fun.

  2. This sounds great. I'm cruising with my parents on Allure in September - DH and kids staying home for this one. I'm pretty certain that I'll be alone in doing this, so 2 questions for you folks - do you think a single middle-aged lady would feel out of place, and how does one sign up for this event?

    Thanks,

    MA

  3. Although you've already heard it loud & clear, I have to throw in my 2-cents... :)

My oldest DS is a college sophomore. He's decided against 2 cruises with us because of the time he'd miss from school. In fact, we've made special arrangements to get him home early from a couple of family vacations so that he wouldn't miss more than a day & even then he worries. This is from a kid who coasted thru high school - it only took the first few weeks in college to hit home that this is his future he's working on. I think your DD might be happier to take that trip when she doesn't have to worry about what she may be missing.
