Just wondering. When you are in a suite do you get to go to Luminae for lunch on embarkation day?

Just curious how much you paid for the upgrade versus what that would have cost if you booked the Sky Suite from the get goOur up grade cost us $1,030 per person. However if we had booked a suite from the get-go the fare would have been $6,000+ per person. So we have managed to get a suite for two passengers for half price. I’m very happy!

Agree. What you had is what you get. (new change). . If you get the move up to Suite you are entitled to go to Luminae for your meals, The Retreat Lounge, priority embarkation/disembark. You maintain the perks you had with original booking.
Thanks Azeri and 1Virgo.
good to know - we already had gratuities and drinks package - so sounds like we areall set. -

Hi,
Just received advice our Move Up to Sky Suite on Eclipse was accepted! Yay! But now I have some questions as I am a bit unsure of what perks and amenities we are now able to enjoy.
Are we able to dine at Luminae and Blu?
Are we able to go to the Retreat? Does the Eclipse actually have a Retreat? From my googling it seems it may have a Retreat of sorts, but no pool.
Any other perks we are able to attain? We already had gratuities, drinks package included and our status is Elite.
Thanks

General Comments:
Never tried Concierge before - very happy to try. May, or may not, be worth it but very excited to give it a go.

No. Not yet.
I did however contact my TA to ask about it and he said that ship is very full - so bidding may not happen.
I will keep trying - you never know.
Thanks for your help and interest 😀

Thanks - I'll try that.
I guess I am wondering if the cruise may be full with all the higher classes of cabins already taken???? Is that a possibility?
-
Thanks Jazzbeau. Tried it. Still just spins and goes nowhere. Not to worry - I'm really very happy with our cabin but just wanted to give bidding a go.
-
Ok. Thanks. I’ll give it a go.

Actually I have previously been to that page and when I enter my name and booking reference the little spinner just keeps spinning. Goes nowhere. Thanks anyway. I so appreciate you trying to help me. That was lovely of you. Thank you.

Found the page to check if you can apply for an upgrade on the Azamara Australian website https://www.azamara.com/en-au/azamara-upgrade-
program
You don’t need to get an email to apply.
wow! Thank you for doing that. I had tried to research before I posted my question but I just seemed to be going round in circles and getting nowhere (just confused!).
Thank you!

Ahhhhh yes. I remember it being called Le Club Voyage - hadn’t realised the name had changed.
After phoning Azamara it seems it is a totally random choice who gets the emails with invitation for upgrade bids.
Not completely convinced its random …. but it is what is is. Sadly I won’t have the opportunity to bid this cruise anyway.
Thanks again.

I found this on the UK web page. It allows you to check if you are eligible to bid.
Thanks Grandma! I'm not sure if I am an Azamara Circle member but I am definitely a loyalty member so I will follow this through. I appreciate your help.

Thanks. Is there a particular reason you get selected by email? I would love to try for an upgrade (not that I am unhappy with my original selection of cabin), but it would be fun to be able to bid.
Is there any other way of being able to bid, if like me, you are not invited to bid?
-
Do you need to receive an email re bids before you can bid? Is there any other way to be able to bid? And lastly when does bidding begin for each cruise - 2 months out, 3 months out, a year out?????
Thanks in advance for any information
-
Thanks. I did lower my bid, but not by much. Minimum bid was $200 so I bid $210/p making it $420. Not much cheaper really but we have never done Concierge so just keen to try it. But very happy with cabin we have, so I won't be too disappointed if we don't get it.
Still have my fingers crossed 😁

Yay!!!! Hope I get the upgrade. Fingers crossed.

We have a balcony cabin booked for our cruise on Eclipse in December - it includes premium drink package and gratuities. I have put in an offer for an upgrade to Concierge Class. So, my question is: If I happen to win that move-up, do I keep the drink package and gratuities? Or do I lose them?
I think I would prefer to stay where we are rather than do Concierge without the bonus packages especially as I think my bid was probably quite high (it was a while ago and I can't remember what the minimum bid was but I bid $250/p).
