  1. Hii ya everyone!

I have not sailed Carnival in a while, so I wanted to check in - I noticed that they are running a staggered check in time - with 12 noon showing as the first time available. (was their a earlier one and I totally missed it??).

I also found out they no longer do early check in on the Queen Mary -

Back in the day, I used to be on board the ship by 12 - not check in at 12!

We have FTTF - can we arrive before 12 noon? (Disney you can) What time do they start to check people in? Is FTTF even worth it know?

Thanks - and I am sorry if repeat questions - I did do searchers first, I promise!

  2. Question about booking window's. We can book 90 days out - as we are returning guests. I want to try and get the following things:

    1. Cabana (ya, never going to happen I am sure)

    2. Palo Brunch on Sea Day

    3. Tickets to see the princesses.

When my booking windows open can I go straight to the cabana or do I have to put in our passports, credit cards, etc?

Ie My Online Check in first, then Book items? And where is everything found? Is it all under actives?

    Thanks so much everyone!

  3. Drop bags in room (FTTF)

Take photos of the room. Buy Bubbles/Drink pkg if we are doing it on the cruise.

Head to buffet - grab a poolside table.

    Order drinks of the day.

Wait till DH and DD get their meal.

Then I go and get my meal - I don't go inside, but make Nachos, etc.

If its a new ship to us, I take 1001 photos before the ship fills up!

  4. If you have FTTF and are at the port when boarding starts you be done with lunch long before it gets crowded.

Totally. I grab three poolside seats, my husband and daughter get their food, and then I get mine. Its perfect (but only if you dont mind not eating at a table).

We tend to have FTTF so its empty when we board, so we can move fast.. and we don't do the full hot buffet selections inside.

  5. Those lines are the same pre and post FTTF.

At busy times we've seen every station at GS manned and the ship only has so many doors to tender out of.

Same no matter the cruise line.

And airline, and train, and anywhere large groups of people flow.
