    Hi it will be my 1st time to this island. Can anyone tell me .. are there buses at the dock with sightseeing tours, available on the day? Thanks

    With all of the posts I have seen lately from Celebrity cruisers not happy with Celebrity changes, I am becoming concerned that maybe we should run not walk away from the three celebrity cruises we have booked.

     

    We have been perfectly happy with our Royal Caribbean cruises, maybe we are making a mistake.

     

    Anyone? :confused:

     

    We have just done our 1st Celebrity cruise having been with RCL for quite a few...

    We loved it!

    I don't leave Auto tips! I like to hand the people who have served us personal tips. Which is what a tip is... Believe me they are better off.. Bar tenders are sorted with the 15% but ones who have been great get a tip..

    I here you shouting ' what about behind the Scenes' well sorry but its not my job to pay wages...

    It doesn't bother me that I don't travel 1st class on a plane, or train so why should it bother me on a cruise? If you pay more you get more! Good luck to those who either can afford it or save dam hard to do it! Life is on different levels.... Some can't afford to cruise... Or go on holiday..

    We were on Eclipse last week.. I up graded my hubby didn't... No complaints from us... If hubby wanted a premium beer I had a classic drink! . Believe me, we are not big drinkers and with the coffees, and fresh juice we had our money's worth...

    If you asked for a G n T you got Gordon's unless you asked for something else, even on Premium.

    After our meal I had. Grand Marnier. The waiter brought 2 without asking...

    I drank Sauvignon Blanc, unless I asked for Clifford bay off the Premium I got the classic one. But honestly I couldn't tell the difference..

    The only beer that was available was John smiths smooth out of a can.

    Guinness, Newcastle Brown and Marstons Pedigree were all premium..

    I was drinking Clifford bay Sauvignon Blanc in the dining room, the drinks waiter told me that was on the premium list.... But I was drinking Sauvignon Blanc quite a few bars, which brand I dint know.. But I'm pretty sure it was that in the pool bar..

     

    On our 1st day in the ocean view cafe, we looked at the list and the Clifford bay was $10.50. The waiter in there said Classic was up to $10 and premium $15 on the wine.

    Rubydoobydoo.. I'm not sure how they can mistake a Cab Sauvignon for a Sauvignon Blanc?

     

    If you like red the Australian Shiraz was delicious

     

    I was never refused any drink on the Premium.. Grand Marnier, Hendricks Gin, all the cocktails in the Martini Bar and the Molecular bar... and a couple of times I got my hubby a Guinness or a New Castle Brown on it if I was drinking a soft drink. As there was only Tetley's smooth on the classic.

    I was drinking NZ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc last week on the Eclipse.. Very nice... It was at all the bars including pool bar. I up graded because I was told I couldn't get it on the classic package...

    We went on Preziosa last yr. fabulous ship, food entertainment and service.... problem for us was the lack of English speaking passengers. It made the ship feel unfriendly for us. Also kids can go in all areas so no adult pool...

    Off on Eclipse soon. The cabin will have to be special to match up to our one on Preziosa

    I've seen some women use the bathroom and just walk out without washing their hands. It's so disgusting, but I'm not sure how to handle those situations.

    It just burns my biscuits!:mad:

    Any suggestions on what to do and how to approach this?

    Now, if I could just figure out how to decline to shake hands gracefully when someone sticks out their hands at me.... It keeps happening, usually right after I've washed, and often just before I'm ready to eat!

     

    Surely you eat with your knife and fork, not with your hands....

    It's been a few years since we cruised Celebrity, and are looking forward to next month's cruise on the Summit. While DW and I don't drink frequently and thus have no interest in beverage packages, we would like to know if there are any designated happy hours.

     

    This made me smile.... ;)
