If you think Celebrity's site is bad, try dealing with their sister line, Royal Caribbean.
I'm not sure which is worse.
Same parent company, same lame web designers.
What I find interesting is how well Princes, Carnival, and NCL's websites work. If they can get it why can't Celebrity

I wonder if the reason is that X's main customer demographic is older, less tech friendly and primarily uses TA's and/or X's customer service phone.
Maybe but its frustrating if you want to use it and it is unusable. If they don't want to make it work properly then they should just put a phone number with no other options

I know its been talked about but it's so frustrating I have to bring it up again and I know Celebrities ship are probably always full but I have to believe that they loose business because of their absolutely crappy website, you all know what I mean
ENOUGH SAID

I'll be following this, we'll be there in June and this sounds like it would be fun.

We were on Orient beach a few years ago and there were people along the whole beach that were without clothing going left or right from Pedro's
Is Pedro's open? I believe that was the name of the bar where the taxi's dropped you off.

we are on the Equinox June 23rd

Hi and Thank you for the review
I have a couple of questions, we have not had a suite before but are considering a sky suite on our June Equinox cruise.
1. does the deck matter we are able to get a cabin on deck 6,7,8,9,10, or 12, is there a better place to be, do any of the verandas have shade or are they all full sun?
2. We have a C1 Aft cabin currently on this sailing deck 10, is the suite upgrade worth it. Its going to cost me approx $1200
3. What can we expect of a butler, what will they actually do for you, I wouldn't want to overstep but I would also like to get the most from the experience.
4 Anything else Pros or Cons to having a suite.
I thank anyone that has an opinion to offer I know alot of these questions are subjective but I look forward to hearing your comments
We have sailed on 10 cruises with four different cruise lines, this is our first time on Celebrity

I'm not sure that Tortola is doable from St. Thomas for a cruise stop and like the other person mentioned is still recovering as it was hit hard.
We have been to St. Thomas a lot as well, and we started chartering a sailboat or a catamaran for the day with a captain. Gets you away from the crowds, swim/dive/snorkeling, lunch and drinks on the boat - it's a great day!
Could you share who you have use to charter a sailboat for the day
Thank You

On my account where it say celebration it also says "cake"
We are celebrating an anniversary. I am assuming that means at some point during our cruise we'll be getting a cake.

From the Uber web site: "Exit on the arrivals level.
Follow the signs to the rideshare pickup area(s). These are located between terminals 1&2 and 3&4 on the innermost curb. This is where all Uber driver-partners at FLL meet travelers for pickup."
Thanks for the info

Are you able to catch an uber or lyft right outside the baggage claim area or do you have to go to a different lacation?

X Silhouette Jan 26th 2018 anyone on that cruise
-
im trying to figure that out to has anyone figures it out
-
Thanks for the response we did book our flights and I was able to get a better time 2:30. We do like to fly out later than the 10:05 that I hadin the original post but sometimes the airlines don't always cooperate but lucky for us I found something better
Happy Cruising Everybody

On the Silhouette next January if we self disembark can we make a 10:05 am flight, I'm thinking we'll be fine but this is our first time on Celebrity so not quite sure what to expect.

That's what I'm seeing also very disappointing

Thank you for the reply`s the solarium looks like it will be a great place to relax
We have sail with other cruise lines but this is our first time on celebrity so we are really looking forward to exploring the ship and all it has to offer
-
Is the solarium included in my cruise price
Thanks
-
I was just on the celebrity website alo and could have booked a veranda
Now I'm confussed
-
This does stink. I can understand if it's something out of their control but to me over booking is unacceptable so I hope that's not the case. If it was April 1st I would be thinking you were trying to pull one over on us
-
Thank you for the response long time lurker, This seems like something we would really enjoy also. We were considering reserving it for all sea days when I thought the price was $150 but at $250 not sure if we will do it at all.
Again thanks for the reply

We are thinking about renting an alcove on our Jan.2018 cruise. For those who have rented them was it worth the $250 and what happens if there is bad weather will they refund your money? Also does anybody know the rates if you rent multiple days i can't seem to find that info on Celebrities website.
Thanks
Jeff

Let's just say I make coffee runs down to El Bachio instead. Enjoying a latte and one of those great almond croissants on the balcony make the quick trip worthwhile.
That's what we end up doing also
-
We are taking our first celebritry cruise on the silhouette next January. We really enjoy getting up in the morning and having coffee on our balcony. Hows the room service coffee we have found on other cruise lines that's it usually not very good but then again some are hopefully celebrity is one of the good ones.
Thanks
Jeff
I know it's been talked about BUT
