And still being one, as here we are, anchored off Pitcairn Island, said to be the most remote inhabited island on earth.

Enjoying reading your World Cruise blog.  Were any passengers able to set foot on Pitcairn Island?

When I traveled there a few years ago with another cruise line only a few Senior Staff went ashore and the Island inhabitants came on board to give talks and sell souvenirs.

I am missing everything.  My upcoming cruise is still not showing, My OBC clearly not showing, my tier level is wrong.  And I have been trying to get this resolved for 4 months.

I've actually given up on the website. My issues like yours are the same.  Thank goodness my husband has an account where at least our 4 upcoming cruises are listed but no OBC is showing.  His tier level is correct but missing points.  Me on the other hand have no points, tier level incorrect and only 2 upcoming cruises.

You should have tried calling again.  I got that response when I called at what I thought was exactly 8am CST.  I waited a minute and called again and got right through.  Even though I thought I had the right time, apparently I was off by a minute or two.

My experience was the same and I called twice this week and got thru both times.

@acruisergirl when I managed to get into the booking of shore excursions there was a button at the bottom that was "store" and it saved my excursions. I did not see a save icon.

I them went to the basket next to my logo  at the top right corner and it brought up my entire booking with dates cabin # , bed configuration, excursions and internet package.

Thanks for your help but my problem is that there is no "store" or "save" button at the bottom of the page.

  5. I've booked but have not paid for excursions on the new website and I want to book additional tours.   I know when adding new excursions I clicked on a "save icon" at the bottom of the screen but now it doesn't appear anywhere.  This website is driving me crazy.🙃

Could someone please tell me how to save an excursion to my account?

  6. Anyone having trouble with the Azamara website today?  Logging in to the site is OK but no where can find the option of going into my account to view upcoming cruises or excursions.

Thank you very much for the information. I called Azamara directly- only had to wait 25 minutes. The rep was very nice and actually confirmed that they have the correct OBC for us (it was wrong a couple weeks ago), She booked the shore excursion using our OBC. Also answered some other questions regarding online check in. She said try to do the online checkin but if it doesn't work- don't worry just come to our port and check-in.

This is our first Azamara cruise and I was getting a bit nervous about them due to all the website issues. I am now feeling very comfortable and looking forward to the cruise.

    Thanks for everyones help.

Congratulations on your good luck in getting through and it's giving me the encouragement to try myself.  May I ask what time of the day you called Azamara and what phone number you used.

Glad some of you can look up your booked cruise.  I am on the Scotland Intensive August 17 cruise and my account still shows I have no upcoming cruises.  I have requested assistance several times, but no response.  Luckily I booked several excursions using OBC prior to the new web site roll out. When final payment was due, Azamara charged the additional cost of the excursions to our credit card (over $700).  It took our TA almost a month to get it sorted out.

As for excursions, I am all set for all the ports (booked some private ones) except for the second day in Greenock.  I think my husband and I will take the train to Ayr and visit the Robert Burns Museum.

This is our first cruise on Azamara, so I am a bit anxious about this whole experience.  That said, I have booked the Croatia Intensive for Sept. 2024.

Not to worry about your on board experience, you will thoroughly enjoy the cruise.

Hi!  I am on the Scotland Intensive July 10 on Pursuit and the shore excursions you referenced as increasing in price happened exactly the same on this sailing!  I had booked five prior to the website mess and the prices are now all dramatically increased . I have been researching private excursions but have found them to be booked up already. Maybe I will be walking around town or taking a taxi for some ports.   Some of the excursions say that the cost is a million dollars!   I can't understand what is taking months for Azamara to get their website and our accounts straightened out either.  I know that when I get on the ship, I will still enjoy my time .

Hi, my husband and I are also on the July 10th cruise and feel your pain.  I have tried to book excursions on the new website for this cruise without much success.  We were recently on an Azamara cruise in February and had plan to book tours for this cruise in order to take advantage of a 10% discount for booking future excursions.  Unfortunately that option was not available because of the website migration issues.

I totally agree that the prices have gone up dramatically.  There are some that were raised on average $50 to $75 per excursion but one in particular increased by $150 per excursion.   I understand that mistakes are made and prices increase closer to sailing but these increases are ridiculous.☹️

I sail 2nd week of June. I haven’t kept an eye on excursion prices as I made my own plans when the system took a dive.

Thanks for your response.  We sail 4th week of June on a B2B and my account is still a mess.  The cruises are not even listed and my patience is dwindling.  Luckily my husband's account displays both but we still can't book excursions and no OBC is showing. ☹️

As of yesterday I no longer owe fictitious amounts and I can book excursions using OBC.

    😃

When do you sail?  Also have you noticed if excursion prices have significantly increased?

Please let us know how it goes.

The Cruises before 2013 are converted x30. We had a 12day AquaClassCruise with 3 old Points, that were counted with 90 Points

Just curious was that in the Celebrity system?

Aboard the Journey: report on "Exploring Senegal" excursion from Banjul Gambia.

But first, shockingly there was no vegetarian entree at the Windows buffet for dinner. When I asked, the server pointed to the peas and carrots.

Exploring Senegal: Fathala Nature Reserve was good, with some caveats. It took more than 5 hours (on what was supposed to be an 8 hour tour) from the meeting time to reach the nature reserve. Lots of delays first at Gambian immigration entry, then the ferry, then the Gambia exit was reasonably quick (the guide brought all the passports to the officials), then Senegal entry was fairly efficient but long because of long lines. At Senegal entry you had to show yellow fever and covid vax certificates. Several people ignored the 10+ times this was said, and had to go back to the bus to get theirs. A couple people had ignored all previous notices about certain nationalities requiring visas and had to go through the visa process at the border, delaying everyone else.

The nature reserve is mostly low story forest - if you've never seen African animals you will enjoy it a lot, if you've been to any East or Southern Africa game parks you'll yawn (well, maybe not, they are still impressive animals but in nowhere near the numbers or setting of those game parks). We saw roan antelope, waterbuck, eland, giraffe, red colobus monkey, zebra - all in small groups.

The return was faster, though we still had the border stops (so 6 passport stamps in a day!), but in the end the ship sailed 2h20 late. Clearly their 8 hour estimation for the tour was a guess (first time Azamara has done this tour; some staff came on the tours). By the way, onboard accounts are charged USD50 for the Gambia visa and USD56 for the Ghana visa (for most nationalities).

p.s. the vegetarian selection on the excursion was a scoop of rice and steamed carrots. Fortunately this could be saved taste-wise by the bottle of West African yellow pepper sauce on the counter.

Thanks earth117 for information about this excursion both pro and con.  My husband and I are on the 23 March cruise of Western Africa and chose this tour.  We appreciate all the comments pertaining to your voyage as it can only prepare the rest of the us for what we may encounter on our upcoming Journey cruise.😊

  14. We are visiting Sagrada Familia in a couple of days,  purchased our tickets and selected the guided tour including the Tower visit.

I have seen comments suggesting to download the Sagrada Familia Official app to get the audioguide before you go.   Could someone please explain if this is a necessary requirement if we already paid for a guided tour.  Does it provide additional history or explanation of the Cathedral?

    Thanks😊

Seems to be numbers related. If I am correct on high occupancy sailings The Patio is open for dinner service, on lower occupancy it isn’t.
Disappointing to say the least. Such a pleasant venue on a warm evening.

Yes I agree.  Keeping fingers crossed that it will be open.🤞

We are boarding the Quest on 9/17 in Barcelona and getting very excited.   Would like to know if the Patio is open at night for dinner?

I was finally able to secure tickets and here's how I had to do it.  Went to a neighbor's house.  I used my laptop but got into the website through neighbor's modem (although we both have the same cable/ internet company).  Also, just to be sure, she put on her credit card (of course, I paid her back)! lol.   And it all worked.  Go figure.  I have no idea.....

Thanks.  I'm going to try this over the weekend.  Now I'll need to find a neighbor willing to trust that I'll pay them back.🤣🤣
