Maybe because last day of cruise when getting off a 7 day cruise is not counted , it would really be day 8

Not that it really applies, but cruises are booked by Nights and not days. Thus you have completed all nights of the cruise. Especially when talking about things like drink packages. But it does sound like staffing and ship management might differ some when it comes to the vouchers.

  2. Thanks. We have a three hour drive but will leave at least an hour early to allow for traffic problems. I don’t relish the idea of making my sweetheart wait in the car while we wait if we don’t run into delays. But, if we have to wait, we wait.

We’re 12:00 boarding, but I suspect we could arrive as early as 11:00. We also have a wheelchair to deal with.

How small is the lounge that it becomes so crowded so easily?

Does anyone know how close to sailing date you can redeem points for OBC? I couldn't find a cutoff anywhere on BOA or RC sites.

They used to say give it 3 to 4 weeks before the cruise.  I booked mine recently about 3 weeks out and it started showing on my account in less than a week.  I found that out when I clicked on "Plan My Cruise" in my account online for the upcoming cruise. I wanted me to know that I had money to spend for drinks, excursions, dining, and more.

  4. If you go to your BofA online statement, there should be a section for "Rewards". Click on "View my Cruise Points" which brings up another page with a section "Total Available MyCruise Points"  Click the box: "Redeem MyCruise Points"  You can select where you want to spend the points from there.

    You can also call 866-562-7625

  5. We were on the Serenade in the RS in 2014. We were escorted from the port check in counter to the suite by the concierge.

You should receive an invite to a Captain's Table-if they are still doing that on this ship. Just make your request known when or before you board in an email to the concierge.

The space is wonderful, separate bedroom, 2 bathrooms-one with jacuzzi tub, walk in closet, dining table and great balcony!

Should be a fantastic experience and (hopefully?) an awesome surprise!!

    Enjoy:)

[emoji3] Thanks for the outstanding response. I just wanted to be prepared to give her one of the most special experiences of our 46 years together. You’ve been a great help. I’m taking it that the Concierge will contact me via email (if they still do that) before we leave.

  6. I recently upgraded from an interior, WOW what an upgrade, right(?). Now my questions.

Has anyone reading this stayed in Serenade’s RS and if so, what can you tell me about the experience. RCCL concierge used to escort RS guests from port to room personally. The concierge also contacted guests ahead to see if there were any special requests. Was anything like this done for your party?

Are there any other perks not listed in RCCL’s Suite perk list, we’ve done a grand suite once before?

I’ve made this upgrade as a present to a very special person in my life and I’m hoping that she can feel like a queen for this 10 day trip.

  7. Wow,that is too bad. I have used Yankee Trails many times, this past June the most recent, and have been very happy with them. I hope this is just a fluke. Did you send a letter to management complaining about it? I would have.

I'm using this service again in April, hope it is better than your experience.

We too have used Yankee Trails for cruise shuttles. I agree that the busses are a might tight but We’ve never had one that rattled. Some are newer than others. The price is what makes it for me. It costs more to park and shuttle to and from the ship and pay for gas than Yankee charges and I don’t have to drive. Worth every penny, even if it means sitting in a bus seat for 4 hours.
