I was on the Dream in August and had to keep turning mine up. It got really chilly. Outside it was upper 80's but the cabin stayed nice and cool. I guess the cove balconies don't get as warm due to their location.

They had it on my Aug 3 sailing. They did a little parade and had the character breakfast

Mudslide. All of my past cruises start with this drink:D

I was on this same cruise and I had a blast as well. It was a full sailing and the only time you knew it was during breakfast on the Lido. Talk about crowded...LOL It was a lot of fun though. Happy belated birthday.

Just got off the Dream on Sunday and my cabin was very cool the entire cruise. I had to turn it down a few times. You know its cold when your glasses fog up every time you go onto your balcony

Packed and ready to make the drive tomorrow night into New Orleans. Leaving Atlanta around midnight. Should get to NOLA around 8AM. May spend a few hours at Harrah's before I check in over in Metarie. Everyone travelling in have a safe trip. WOOHOO:D

I'm so ready for this cruise and excited to see this ship(Dream). This will be my second cruise with Carnival. Also, this cruise sets sail on my birthday and I'll be 29 yrs old! I'm looking forward to meeting and making new friends on this cruise. I'm ready to leave Vegas and see what New Orleans has to offer tomorrow. Can these next four days hurry up, PLEASE? Lol

This review makes me more and more excited for my trip on the Breeze. Thank you for posting.

Usually tip $1-$2 per order. The more we order the more we tip...especially after 3 AM:D

I'm taking my 7th solo cruise this year, and I've taken many land trips solo as well. Cruising solo is actually my favorite way to sail. You get to do what you want, when you want. Sometimes they seat all the solo cruisers together at dinner. Go and have a great time!
Taking my 8th solo in a few days. This is your time to completely decompress. Everything is on your schedule. Get out of your comfort zone and try EVERYTHING:D Like GAPEARL said..."Do what you want, when you want."

I have used SAS on two occasions from FLL to the port of MIA, and have recommended them to others, and this is the first I have heard of a 90 minute wait. When we land, and cut on our phones, either they are calling, or have left us a message to let us know that they are close by, and to call them when we have our luggage. Once we have our bags, and call them back, it has never been more than a 10-15 minute wait.
Same here, I have never had to wait 90 minutes.

I've got a Cove on the Dream just to see if I like it. I have heard really good reviews about them. I can't wait.

Its the inconsistency that gets me. Some cruises I'm eligible for the fruit basket, some times not. I miss the snacks waiting in my cabin:( Other than that, I don't gamble for the perks. I do it for the fun.

How did you score that one????? Wow!
Carnival had a private pack and play deal...insides started at $50.00 Couldn't pass up a balcony for that price. Cabin is now $1691.35:eek:

I am looking forward to my first cove balcony on the Dream...I may have to switch if I really like them for my Breeze cruise:D
-
I don't mind sharing:D I got the deal of a lifetime on my upcoming Dream cruise. Cove balcony SOLO with taxes included $213.15. Subtract the $50.00 shipboard credit...total $163.15 for 7 days. $23.30 a day:eek:
-
Its the inconsistency that gets me...Land based you know what expect. Carnival...not so much.
-
I'm shooting for a 9:30 arrival myself. Its the first day of vacation and I want to enjoy it all:D
-
Got a cove balcony on the Dream for August for 213.00 including taxes and fees, 7 nts...SOLO
-
Can't wait to read more...going on the Dream in a few weeks:D
-
Carnival Imagination...first cruise. It has always been a fun cruise.

What a difference a few years and a few cruises make. I am now getting the good offers. Got a pack and play offer for cruises starting at $50pp plus onboard credit. I guess if you grind it out with Carnival long enough, they will come through:D
-
Got the Premier Cruise offer and booked the Breeze for November for my Birthday. Nothing like free money on your birthday and a cruise!!!:D

Wow...my next solo will be on the Breeze. Thanks so much for all the photos. This is really an excellent perspective.
Rooms under the galley?

I was on the Dream in August in a cove balcony and did not notice a lot of noise coming from above. There were the occasional bumps and scrapes, but it was not enough for me to use my earplugs. There was more noise from outside the cabin by passing passengers than from the galley. I hope your trip will be a quiet as mine:D
