We are also waiting on Alaska 2021 cruise prices from Princess. We have sailed with Princess and RCCL before and would be happy for either. But seeing the prices of RCCL Alaska  we now really want to see Princess prices also.

I am glad you asked this question as i was wanting to know the same thing. Our cruise isn't until October 18 and I booked online with RCCL. I have noticed the price has dropped a lot. Does Royal only drop the prices for US citizens?

My husband and I will be in Bar Harbor in September and we are planning on booking a tour with Oli's Tour. As this is out first time to Bar Harbor nice to hear good reports on Oli's Tours.

I loved reading positive reviews about SOS as we are booked on her next year. It was great to see all the photos as well. We have been on Radiance a couple of times and thought they would be very similar but the photos look beautiful.

We were in Pago Pago last September for the day. We did a 3 1/2hr tour with Tradewinds Tours. I booked them prior to our cruise and they were waiting for us when we walked out of the pier gates. It was a great tour, we all loved it. Would definetly recommend them to show you the sights.

Would love to go back to Pago Pago one day, such a beautiful place. :)

We are booked on the Dawn Princess in September and there are 11 of us plus a toddler. Does anyone know if the Dawn has 12 seater tables? It would be great if all our family could sit together.

Any cruise that has Boston (great little city, can almost walk anywhere, tons of history), Portland (a little local plug here), Halifax (beautiful city) and PEI can't be bad. Bar Harbor is beautiful (another local economy pitch), but is somewhat problematic weatherwise during the fall foliage season. Sometimes great weather, sometimes foggy.

I am so glad you posted as I have just been sitting here trying to pick which is the better cruise to do. I also like the Celebrity cruise but was also looking at RCCL 10 night one way. We have never cruised this area and looking for any guidance we can get.

We were there in September and did a ship tour. There were markets on the dock but we didn't see any tour organisers.

I have been on the Radiance twice now and never really had a problem. Out the back was always easy to get a table and on a beautiful day that is where we preferred to sit.

We attended a banquet last night, and DW had worn golden shoes with her outfit. This morning I slipped a golden envelope into one of the golden shoes. Then I said "I forgot to comment on your golden shoes last night."

 

"They're really uncomfortable," DW complained. "My feet hurt!" (She played right into my hands with that comment.)

 

I responded "Why? Is there something in them?"

 

She immediately looked in the shoes and found the envelope. On the front I had written "Good morning!"

 

Inside was this photo:

On the back I had written "Begin with our 26, take away 14, add 1... then put together something that sounds beautiful! – YOU add so much beauty to my life!"

 

After reading the clue a couple of times (and giving me some strange looks in between) DW shrugged and put it back in the envelope, explaining "It's too early in the morning for me to think about that one."

 

"It seems like there have been several clues lately that you have had to give some thought to," I laughed (because she hasn't had much to say after receiving several of the most recent clues), "either that, or you just didn't care." (But I'm sure she knew I was kidding about that.)

I am loving reading this post and and with every post I keep checking the date to see which month it was written. What an amazing surprise birthday gift you are going to give your wife. Can't wait for the rest of this story to unfold!

I also am very lucky, my DH surprised me last Sunday announcing that he has booked us on a cruise in February for our 30th wedding anniversary. As I have always been the organiser for all our holidays, I was overwhelmed that he did that for us.

Thank you so much for your review, I loved reading it all. I started reading to learn about the Radiance of the Seas as I finally get to cruise on her next week. Even if it is only for 2 nights but i will do the South Pacific on her in March. Alaska is at the top of my list for must do and it was great to be able to show the DH all your fantastic photos. One thing i really want to see is bears in the wild and i hope Alaska will be the place to do that.

I can't believe that, how do people fall over board? I not very tall and i don't think i could just fall overboard!:confused: I am glad they found him, bet his mother can't wait to get her hands on him.:D
