Kids on a Celebrity cruise AND in the Retreat? I feel sorry for your fellow passengers who look for a peaceful experience in the retreat. Leave the kids at home, then there's no problem with a babysitter.
i would rather kids in the Retreat than old bitter people.

i think it's very presumptuous of us to just assume this is because of a stabilizer issue

hello everyone - thanks for your tips/help
i know everyone here has posted that Celebrity would not help but today I called the Captains Club number with the advice of the Celebrity Personal Vacation Planner and they were able to confirm that the documents I had were sufficient in their opinion.

@sanjay, it is good that you are checking now. While I don’t have an answer for your particular cruise, I can tell you that if your future plans included a closed loop Alaskan cruise that your friend with the Indian passport would need a Canadian visa to board the ship in Seattle. Without that Canadian visa (full page pasted in the passport), he/she would be denied boarding.
I hope it all works out for your friend on your upcoming cruise.
thanks
my friend actually has a 10 year multi-entry canadian and usa visa

I am departing a cruise leaving Fort Lauderdale in a few weeks and one of the people in our group has an Indian passport (but American tourist visa)
From my online googling it appears this is sufficient because the websites for the embassies of the ports we are visiting imply cruise passengers do not require a visa.
Is there someone or a department at Celebrity or RCL I can contact just to confirm this so my friend does not have a problem at boarding in a few weeks?
My Celebrity Personal Vacation Planner did not have the answers and recommend a third party company called Visa Central but it appears all they want to do is try and sell me things. Their info has also been inconsistant.
Hoping someone has an answer of who I can confirm my details from. I imagine Celebrity will verify her documents before boarding -- I would like to call that department.

Travelling with my parents.
Just wondering if I can request we have access to each others room on the keys?

How is everyone able to do a mock booking and see how many rooms are available?
Can anyone please check March 19 sailing of Reflection please?

Since we have 4 nights, is it reasonable to expect to be able to eat at the 4 specialty restaurants?
If it's important to you why not pre-book online?

Is there anyway to contact someone who assigns seating for dining on the ship?
Scheduled to board in a few weeks

I'm sailing on Beyond starting next Sunday.
I checked the latest room inventory:
2 Iconic Suites
1 Aqua Sky Suite
1 Sky Suites
4 Aqua Class staterooms
6 Concierge staterooms
1 Sunset Veranda staterooms
5 Edge Staterooms with Infinite Veranda
1 Porthole Veranda staterooms
38 Oceanview staterooms
95 Deluxe Inside staterooms
154 rooms available => implies we are sailing 3260 (advertised capacity) - 308(based on double occupancy) = ~2952 passengers, about 90%, slightly more than the cruise that just finished where Capt. Kate said they were sailing at 84% capacity.
wow - how do you check this?
any chance you can help with March 19 2023 Reflection sailing?
i would really appreciate it

it was marginally more for us to book Concierge Class vs a partial view 6th floor Veranda on Reflection (Maybe $60 pp for the week more)

I'm a certified Lean practitioner and wish the cruise lines would use someone like me to help them identify sources of Waste to eliminate the wastes while keeping their customers happy.
i would guess rccl being a huge company with a market cap of close to 15 billion dolllars has a whole fleet of lean sigma's advising on everything.
this is also why we have these changes happening.

I agree with this as well.
It is ok to make changes to manage a budget - that is how every business works.
I don't think it should have been done to cruises which were already past final payment.

Apex Select dinning 6pm
in Celebrity Cruises

I know everyone here says the E class ships have no assigned dining.
But last week on Apex - we had assigned dining. A pre-arranged table and time in Cyprus everyday. Same waiters for the whole week.
We were let know by a note in our room.
