Yes, it looks like there are some new and some the same as in March.

How often does Carnival change the movies it shows both on the big screen & in the room?

We went on the Conquest during the 3rd week of March & we are going on the Magic in a week & I am wondering if they will still be showing the same movies.

We were on the Getaway in June and we received a letter the first day of the cruise stating this. They moved all the 10-12 year olds out of the splash academy and they met each day in the Bliss lounge next to the casino.

I was concerned but it was not a problem. There were loads of kids on the cruise and we never waited in line longer than a couple of minutes to check the kids in or out.

I think the bigger boats can handle the additional kids and adapt accordingly.

I wouldn't be concerned as it was not an issue for us. I have a 3 yr old & 11 yr old. We only used Splash academy on an evening but I didn't hear of any problems during the cruise at any other times.

Just got off the Getaway today and we had to be Onboard at 3.30 pm for a 4.00pm departure.

I heard from our TA today & we are back on the cruise with an upgrade to a mini suite & they have assigned a room # to us. I have now got a new res#. When I asked them what the reason for the cancelation was, they said they never got a clear explain action?!

I was quite sure we wouldn't be going, but we are! So now I am all excited & feel confident that we have our room # 12236 - so we should be good!

I spoke with the TA & they have no answers from NCL. It is the NCL revenue department that canceled the booking. They are not in until Monday!

I will let you know on Monday what they say. I am sure it is over booked, over capacity but one would expect in this technology era that their computer system should not be able to take bookings & process cc & issue a reservation after capacity has been reached!

I just booked the dec 27th sailing today for 4 on the getaway in a guaranteed balcony. I was given the reservation # & my credit card charged in full. An hour ago I heard from the travel agent & NCL had canceled the booking stating they could not accommodate 4 on that sailing. They didn't even call to offer anything else or say oops sorry! Or if anyone canceled they would call me!

Has anyone ever heard of this happening before? It sounds like their web site was still taking bookings & they were already maxed out on lifeboat allocation maybe?

I know it was a last minute booking but it is frustrating.

I just booked a last minute cruise for the Getaway going Dec 27th. It appears all bookings for Shows & restaurants are no longer available on line. Where do I go to book these once on the ship? Can you book on the tv in your room?

Gosh there is so much hostility. Where is the compassion for others? I smoked for 20 years & it was very hard to quit. Most people who smoke want to quit & are continuously trying to do so. The judgement from those who probably have never smoked is just awful and harsh. this 'we won' stuff I have read is beyond childish!

I must comment on what I have found. During the 16 cruises I have taken where smoking was allowed on balconies, I never actually smelt smoke ever on my balcony. However on the Royal cruise we just did in June on the Freedom I found myself & my children having to walk through clouds of smoke when on the lido deck going aft to the buffet area. yes, only one side allows smoking but I often found ourselves walking down that side.

In the end market forces will prevail though. If cruise lines cannot fill their cabins & loose revenue they will look at their policy & adjust it if they think the non smoking on balconies has caused this.

No matter the policy, let's be courteous to one another & every non smoker should be offering encouragement to all smokers to give up.

Do they have shuttle board on deck 4 promenade?

We didn't get one the last time & I emailed guest services when we returned & they emailed me one within a few hours.
