I'll put in a plug for the Amoranto Romano, a B&B near Termini on Via ****onale. It's in an old building, which has been converted--very lovely, and still within walking distance of all Rome has to offer.

Hello,
I have a question for all of you frequent flyers via Marco Polo. We have a 7:00 am flight on a Sunday the day after our cruise docks. Can we get transportation from Maestre that early in the morning, or should we stay at the airport? Thanks for your help!

I second Private Greece Tours. We are using them for the second time in September. Our driver took us to all of the main tourist areas in the city, let us out, and we were free to explore on our own. It was a fabulous day!

When I thanked H David for our wonderful excursion in October, he asked me to let others know that their website had changed to Egypt Ports of Call. They had been hacked in September and the website and email address were down, but they were working on fixing the problem. It seems as if both websites are valid.

We used Egypt Private Excursions for our overnight tour of Cairo in October. We loved them, and Ayman was an excellent guide. From what I understand, their website was hacked a few months back, and their website is now egypt ports of call dot com.

We used Private Greece Tours for our port day on October 17th. Nikos was very prompt and efficient in his replies to my email, and Elias, our driver, was wonderful! He gave us some historical background to all of the sites, and made sure we saw everything we had on our agenda for the 6 hours we had in Athens. I highly recommend them.
Island Princess - C728
in Princess Cruises
Posted
We just returned from the 9/7/15 sailing of the Island Princess in room C606. This was our fourth Princess cruise, but the first on the Island, and I'd hesitate to cruise on the Island in the future. The vibration in our room was terrible! The walls vibrated, the bed vibrated, but worst of all, our room had the bunks in the ceiling, and a loose screw in one of the bunks rattled all night in the vibrations. It's like we were sleeping in a machine shop! With that being said, our cruise was fantastic, but our room had a lot to be desired.
