Travel Time

Hello,

I am wondering is anyone has any information on hotels to stay at a couple of nights before a cruise?  I was looking at Manhattan Beach, but am wondering about how long is it to San Pedro Pier.  I can get the distance from google.  Are there other area's you would recommend?

Hi Bob,  I have enjoyed reading your posts this morning. A few of us will be getting on the cruise this coming Saturday for our first ever B2B. We are very excited about this. I know you have hurt your leg and the gym is not in your plans for this cruise, however could you comment on some of the gym offerings, classes etc. I imagine some will be free and some will have a fee.   Have a wonderful day today..the weather looks beautiful in your pics, up here in Ontario, Canada we are getting snow!

Union Square is nice, and you can catch the cable cars from there. Stayed at the Chancellor Hotel..great place and reasonably priced.

Things to see, tour ChinaTown, Colt Tower(fabulous), foodie tours, Little Italy, head over to Golden Gate Bridge, Sausilito..see all the house boats, and don't forget Lorbard Street..

We used public transit, very easy to navigate.

Have fun..San Francisco is an incredible city.:)

Do you need to bring your own beach towels to the island..I believe the answer is yes..but want to verify..
