  1. Last summer we took our kids. DS turned 14 on Day 2 and DD was 1 month from turning 12. I signed a waiver for DD that I was ok w/her moving to the older group. They both had a great time. It wasn't super structured but they did have scheduled activities. DD still has a group chat with several of the kids (ages 12-17). She said the last night of the cruise they were sitting around talking and somehow her age came up. They all never realized she was as young as she was.

  2. I was looking at a sailing for June/July. I clicked on the category I wanted. We need 2 rooms. They were X price. Same price. I go to the next screen and the price on one had changed by about $200 or so. I log out and come back later and they are all now that same price (in that category). I get changing the price before another promo but this is ridiculous.

  3. A friend is looking to book a cabin on deck 6 on Oasis. It's right across from the Next Cruise office. Is it sort of separated by a wall or anything? Or if you walk out of the cabin, is it right there? She's worried about lots of foot traffic. She's only been on Freedom classes and it's been a long time since I've been on Oasis and never went on that deck.

  4. We parked at the port in June for FOS. We found a little bit of a discount by prepaying online. We wanted something we were sure was safe and secure. We got to the port at around 10am and it was really easy for dh to drop dd and myself off with the luggage. We got that all situated while he went and parked. Then it was very easy to get to our car when we were leaving.

  5. My dd was turning 12 about a month after our trip. I went to the teen leaders and asked if she could bump up. My son who turned 14 on Day 2 would also be in there with her. I think I had to sign something consenting to this but they were ok with it. She had a blast. She met a group of kids that she still keeps in touch with today. They are ages ranging from 13 up to 17, I think.

  6. When we were on Freedom in June, our kids' room had them. Ours did not. I asked our steward and was told they were doing away with them little by little and there weren't any extras to be had. Our first night's sleep was horrible. I begged for something. I mean it was bad. By the time we got back from CoCo Cay, there were toppers on our bed. Our steward made sure we knew how lucky we were and that they would be tossing ours and our kids' when we docked in PC.

I get the unsanitariness of them. But damn those beds are horrible w/o them.

  7. DH got what we think now was sea lice while on Freedom in June. He was miserable the last few nights. I got some Benadryl from the shop. It was like $12 or something. But I just figured I had no choice. He needed something.

Glad to see the response to your letter and maybe they will do something. I get a little bit of a higher cost (it's like going to a corner store or something) but that $18 for cough meds was insane!
