CardFanDubG posted links to them in their review of their Getaway sailing July 1-8 of this year.

So much fun reading your posts! Thank you for taking time to write all this.
We are sailing on Getaway in Nov 2018. We will be a group of 5 like yours. I'm glad to hear getting into restaurants is easy with that number. It probably will end up just being 4 as son aged 13 will want to be at the kid's club.
I had seen posts of Maya Chan filling up. We made our reservation already.
Did any of your group do the ropes course? How was it? That is something son is looking forward to the most. This is our first foray on a larger ship.

Try Zeppelin. We used then last year and they were wonderful. 5 crew to our 10. 2 guides in the water with us. Delicious meal grilled on the boat.
We're going to use them again this fall.
-
last year we just grabbed a taxi outside the port mall area.

We stayed in 8102 in March. We never heard a thing from the Centrum.
We definitely recommend the cabin for its large balcony.

Thank you for the resurrection! We booked our first Getaway cruise last night. Even though the cruise is over a year away, we are already excited and busy researching the ship. I can't wait to read what others add to this thread.

We disembarked JOS this past Sunday. We were in a standard balcony and the hairdryer can only be plugged into its own designated outlet at the vanity.
It is the type with the button that must be held in order to function.

FYI we were on Jewel the 1st week in Feb and had the old menus, not these.

Thank you for letting me know!
Regardless of menu, I'm sure we will have a great cruise.

We're in 8102 beginning this Sunday. We can't wait for that balcony!

Is the taxi baggage fee just for suitcases or should we plan to pay for carryon bags too?
For example DH will have a backpack.

Thank you for posting these. We leave in 15 days for San Juan. And 16 days on Jewel of the Seas.

Thank you! I really didn't think there was, but would like to make sure.

Check out Creole Tours Antigua for a wonderful day excursion. We have done this tour before and are doing it again in March 2017.
It is a boat tour that takes you to Bird Island for swimming and lunch. Glen, the owner takes those that desire to a snorkeling area nearby. For those that choose not to snorkel, you stay on Bird Island and do what ever you like; explore the island or swim.
After the lobster lunch, Glen takes you to another snorkel area with shallow waters and lots of starfish. It was pretty amazing.
All drinks and food are included. Glen makes the best rum punch we have had in the Caribbean!
Enjoy your cruise!

Thankyou DaveKathy for your quick response!
We are quite excited for sailing with RCCL. Something new for us.

What cabin did you decide on?
We are sailing Jewel in March 2017 in 8102. We purposely chose this cabin as it holds 4 and has a large balcony.
I have minor concerns about Centrum noise. I always travel with ear plugs just in case. On our last cruise the balcony divider door made a lot of noise a couple of nights. I find it difficult to sleep in complete silence so the muffled music should be ok. ;)

Are you folks saying there is no poolside grill?
-
For those that have recently sailed on Jewel:
In the solarium, I see per the deck plans there is a bathroom. Are there showers in there as well?
And I know the solarium pool is for those passengers 16 years and older. What about the solarium cafe?
Thank you

We are sailing on Jewel in March; first time on RCCL!
What is in the dispenser in the shower?
Is the main dining room open for lunch on the day of embarkation?

We saw this on the RCCL website. We are sailing on the JOS. The ship has a Japanese restaurant serving sushi and sashimi. I will not purchase this special in fear of getting booked there.

We sailed on the December 30th cruise on the Dawn.
There were about 6 heated loungers in the Thermal Suite. DD and I had purchased passes for the full 9 days. Unfortunately, we were having too much fun with family and friends to use it much. I'm sure if it had just been my immediate family, I would have used it more.

Thank you for posting the drink menus! The funny thing is we are from Minnesota; where Prairie Organic Spirits is based. I can't believe NCL considers them Super Premium.
At least I can get my favorite drink with my favorite gin! I may have to find a good bartender and teach them how to make it.

Does that really show a gin and tonic is 17.95? And made with Prairie Gin?
The photos are very hard to read.

Thank you for the pictures. We leave in less than a week. There are 10 of us in 5 balcony rooms in a row.

Were the MDR menus the same as those shown in reviews from August sailings? I have read about new menus coming, but no confirmation of implementation.
