LOL, yes, I would use the deadlock on the door, but he would still try to get in, and when he couldn't he would knock and knock until we answered. I wanted something on the door so he wouldn't knock and wake us up.

Oh, and I never heard any sound in the room when they played the movies on deck 12. Nothing at all. The only thing we would hear occasionally was people running around on deck 12 at 1 in the morning.

I was in 1118. Location is GREAT! Quiet hallway not far from the elevators.
This was my first cruise with Celebrity and I thought Blu was just ok. I have read many reviews where people rave about Blu, so I was excited. I have to say, I was somewhat let down. We preferred to actually dine in the MDR because we thought the service and the menus were better.

LOL, I fell asleep during the Sirens show too! That sommelier in Blu never left my glass empty! :D

Hi everyone....I was also on the June 14th sailing.
We wanted to go to the MDR for lunch, but when we asked, we were told that it was not open for lunch.
We boarded the ship around noon and went to the buffet for lunch.

Just got off Summit in Aqua and there was no pillow menu. Wish there was since I thought the pillows were terrible.
There were slippers, robes, 2 bottles of water replenished daily, welcome champagne, binoculars, umbrella, tote bag, three green apples.
There was also no lip balm. There was no daily ice service. If you wanted the canapes, you had to fill out a form and be in the room when they delivered them.
There was also no Do Not Disturb sign for the door. Had to ask for one since the room steward would just walk in whenever he pleased, LOL.

Just got off the Summit and was in Aqua class. There were two bottles of water in the room when we arrived. They were replaced daily.

Thanks Iamthesea. I should have thought of YouTube. That's exactly what I was looking for.

Does anyone have any pictures of the bathrooms in the Aqua Class Cabins on Deck 11 of the Summit?
Thank you

Explorer of the Seas is in NY Harbor. Should be docking very soon.

I could be wrong, but I believe the only way to get to the island is via the ship's tender. I agree that is crazy that the cruise lines charge so much for a 5 minute boat ride to the island.
And yes, it is also known as Bacardi Island.

I was wondering if anyone has recently stayed in room 1268 on Explorer.
Was there a lot of noise being under the pool deck?
Could people see your deck from above?
Was it a far walk to the elevator?
Does anyone have any pictures of the actual room, bathroom and/or deck?
Thank you! :)

I too will be leaving from Manhattan (on the Spirit in May) and was considering parking at the terminal rather than taking a car service.
I found this link:

Hope this helps!
