Likewise here. Not much to get excited about. 

I have accidentally booked the same cruise twice before and when I finally realized just called and cancelled one. 

I got my bid accepted the day before the cruise. Must have been a last minute cancellation because there were excursion tickets and invitations for another party in my cabin on embarkation 

I have used Larry's Limos many times and have never been sorry!

I can't wait to see the the I love this martini menu!

I am quite disappointed in missing ports, but a day on a ship is still better than a day at home right now. To combat my disappointment, I just put a deposit down on the same itinerary for 8/24/24 on the Enchanted!

Bailymouse- how did you hear about the cancelled ports?  I have heard nothing. Packing a few warm weather clothes, a few cool weather clothes and a few cold and rainy clothes.  It is a pain and I am packing more than I usually would. 

I’m hoping to hear what is going to change for the 9/16 sailing. Pretty sure we are not headed  up the coast!

I was on the second week. KKB I'm the lady who recognized you in spa pool and mentioned that I always travel solo, and your husband shouldn't be so worried. We chatted for a minute in Sanctuary. Well, I got really ill Thursday night/Friday morning. Tested myself Friday morning and negative for covid but spent most of Friday sleeping. Masked in k95 all the way home. Tested positive on Sunday. Still positive yesterday and have been pretty miserable. I worked out intensely and daily in fitness center and suspect that is where I was exposed. Oh well. It had to happen someday!

Hi!  I asked for a mat from the gym and my butler delivered. I used it on my balcony daily. I brought bands and an ab wheel with me. Able to get in decent workout and stretch each morning. 

Cruise Raider,  you sound like a kind and caring person. I bet people really like you!

They did that for me. I had to pay deposit. Credit covered cruise fare and I got the excess as onboard credit. But I am still waiting for them to actually apply it. I am entirely confident it will be done correctly. 

I have played it in Norwegian. Its okay if nothing else is going on!

I agree 100% with SargassoPirate that one can be alone on a cruise but not lonely. I travel solo a lot and have always had a great time. Chatting with fellow passengers and getting to know the "regulars" at my favorite places is great, but if I can do what I want when I want. I usually decide what I am going to do just before I do it. I figure the is no such thing as quarantine police. My pre cruise hotel is a block from the pier and has a car rental company on site. I will walk myself out and call to arrange rental car pickup. Anyone tries to stop me I will contact law enforcement myself and let them know I'm being held against my will. I'm sorry this happened to your family but makes me more determined to not let cruise line dictate my quarantine process. I can easily drive home with stops for drive thru food wearing my N95 mask. 

I'm on the 1/9 Breakaway sailing out of NOLA. Decided I was not going to cancel because I don't want FCC.  If they sail I will be onboard making the best of it. If they cancel and I'm already down there I will just change my flight home and come back.  The thing is I only booked this cruise after carnival canceled my 12/11 cruise on the Horizon due to engine problems.  Maybe I'm not destined to cruise!

I have used Cortrans and had a very good experience

If I cancel for FCC do I get my money back for taxes and port fees?  What about extras purchased ie premium drink package. 

I'm at a loss now. Was not going to cancel my 1/9 cruise as I did not want to have my money held hostage in FCC. Just got word that the first leg of my flight is cancelled. Hold time for United over 2 hours. I just can't. I feel like all the joy has been sucked out of this trip.

I am ready to give up trying to connect and stay up to date. I have no real social media presence as I do not belong to the book of faces or bird noises etc. This is the only place I come to. I've learned A lot over the years here but I'm not too happy right now 

Sigh.
