  1. I have prepaid WiFi,  gratuities and water package on my cruises starting in August  .  I now think purchasing  the Plus package would work better for us.  Can I cancel the above purchases  and get my money refunded?

  2. We are arriving in London on August 8, 2004 and are spending 5 nights in London seeing the sights before our cruise on August 13   I'm wondering if I should purchase the breakfast package  with the hotel reservation.  I know that as an American our breakfasts are different than a British breakfast so I'm wondering if it would be a good option for us to purchase.  Also any help on deciding which hotel we should book.  (Premier Inn - Waterloo or Country Hall)  We plan on using the HO-HO bus on our day of arrival to get a good overview of the area and then choosing what we want to see and visit.  Thanks so much for your help!

We are 54 & 55. Glad you have enjoyed my posts!  We've seen age groups from 20's on up, but no kids at all.

All our excursions have followed the descriptions exactly so I'd recommend reading the activity levels if you aren't sure. Paris & Berlin didn't have a huge amount of walking, other than in Berlin at the train station. That was a zoo of people and you really had to keep up with the guide.

I'm happy to answer any other questions you may have later too.

Thanks for answering my question.  You both are much younger.  I was hoping you would say that you both were in your 80's and had  no problem during the tours.  We are reasonably fit  for our age and after reading your tour experience we will keep the reservations.    Thanks again!

  4. Thanks everyone for your answers.   In 2019 we cruised for 60 days 4 back 2 backs and are OBC carried over and coffee package was bought on the first cruise and worked for unlimited brewed coffee for all 60 days.  I know several things have changed on Princess, so was trying to get good information  on coffee package since restart,.  Our 2 cruises were booked as 2 separate cruises but they are linked.

I couldn't find a reasonable way to book business/first class all the way from Sydney to LAX so I used AA miles to book Hawaiian's lay-flat business seats from Sydney to Honolulu and United miles to book economy plus seats from Honolulu to LAX.

I will have more discussions about our experiences in the Sydney and Honolulu airports later.

Thanks for the information.  I'm finding your experiences very informative.

My parents just got off this cruise and flew from Sydney to LA, then to Seattle.  The Sydney/LA flight is LONG.  They highly recommend splurging on Business (or First) class if you can afford it.  It will make such a long flight much more comfortable.  Whichever you choose, make sure you get up and move regularly.

Have fun on the cruise!   Try the ukulele classes.  It sounds like a lot of fun.  😃

Thanks for your reply.  Will look into first class.

  7. Thank you for your replies. My husband and I are passengers on that sailing. We are trying to get our friends to do a cruise with us in the future, so we thought the BVE would be a push in the right direction. It sounds like showing them around on our own will be much for fun. Thanks again.

  8. I'm trying to decide if we want to do the organized tour with our friends or just see the ship and eat on our own. Can anyone tell me what you do and see on the organized ship tour?

    Thanks
