I have to say, your review is beyond AMAZING! I started reading it a couple of days ago and decided I needed to share it with my mom. So, for the past couple of nights when I have gone to her house I have been reading it aloud as if is a book. We are both like “oh my gosh, what happens next?”

If I could have a cruise spirit animal I think it would be you. LOL. No, seriously, everything you have written it’s as if I’m reading about myself, and it’s crazy!

My mom and I have both joked that we must cruise with you. Hahaha. We have been on the Getaway twice, this itinerary on her once and are booked for the same one in December. I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing this cruise through your eyes.

I would love the dailies too, if not too much trouble. No rush!

You will have fun! Some people like and some don't, but don't let that scare you. I love NCL and have never had a problem or an issue.

Looking at your signature I realized you were on the Carnival Glory and Carnival Breeze with my husband. He was the DJ on both of those ships. In fact, he's still on the Breeze. I hope you had a great time!

She is still a beautiful ship with great entertainment. We have been on her three times and another one booked. Hope you have a great cruise!

I sailed on the Getaway in 2014 when she was all shiny and new and our family is booked for another sailing on her in November. Do they still have the fireworks? I know that was a highlight for my niece the last time so wondering if she can still look forward to it. Thanks!

This is wrong information.

 

The White Hot party is on all the "older" fleet ships.

 

The only Glow partys are on the newer ships.

 

We were just on the Sky in November and it is the White Hot party. But, basically anything that "glows" will work of course since you have black lights. :D

 

As for the day, it was our day in Nassau...so day 3 I suppose.

 

I have to say it was one of the worse White Hot partys we have ever been to. There was hardly anyone dancing and it was honestly quite boring. We left a good 45 minutes after it started and that was after our daughter getting her face painted and only because of that. :(

White hot party no longer exists. Now they have a glow party, some glow sticks/necklaces and music. Kids and adults.

Thanks. I wasn't aware that was feet wide now. I went to the Glow Party on the Getaway in December. Essentially the same thing just with glow sticks lol.

Anyone know what night it is held on on the 4 day Sky cruise.

Going on a quick birthday trip to the Bahamas in a few days and I am wondering if anyone know what night the White Hot Party is held on the 4 day Bahamas cruise on the Sky. I am an über planner and have to know these things, especially since this is MY birthday trip! Thanks!

Thanks for writing a great review! My family and I are going on the Getaway on December 13th and I keep looking for as much info as I can find. Good tip about the Glow Party. I already have a white outfit so I will just be adding some glow stick bracelets to it. :)

I was on the Dawn last December and they had the White Hot party which was a ton of fun. Will be on the Getaway this December and wondering if they have the same party. Need to know if I should be packing an all white outfit.:)
