We were flying from New Jersey and being on the plane for 5hrs+ is also a concern.

We received ~55% back on cash and the rest will go into FCC which I'm planning to use once this craziness is over.

I was wondering if you get back part in cash and the rest as an FCC.  My wife and I are taking our 2 kids and another 3 of the kid's friends.  The other 3 kids parents were paying their fair.  I wasn't sure how the FCC offer would work.  I guess we can just take the money and pay the friend's parents back and use the rest for a future cruise if we decide not to go.

Of course, I've been trying to get through to Carnival for a couple of hours with no luck so I can find out my choices for sure when I get through.

It will be nice to have an IPA choice and Loose Cannon isn't bad at all.

If you purchase the social internet package will iMessage not work? My kids have phones, but do not have Facebook accounts and I'd rather not set them up just for the messaging component.

I can see New Years being a really popular time for cruises. My family is going the week of Thanksgiving on the Carnival Dream. Hopefully that week is a bit less popular. It would sure be nice to have a few extra dollars in the vacation fund to spend on excursions, etc.

I would love to see how you can attach a hammock on a cove balcony as well. I would LOVE to take on of my hammocks...might not ever sleep inside...

Do you have a link with the information about cabins on Main (deck 2) for the Dream?
