I am 23 days out from ours. ABC islands on Celebrity

We are headed out in May to the ABC  islands cruise ( 8 day) We have diamond status on Royal and all that that entails. We don't expect too much, but hope to be surprised by Celebrity. What should we plan on  for first timers? 

I am so happy they dropped the testing !

We just put in a minimum bid for a Junior suite and got it! . So far we have only cruised in balcony rooms so this is an upgrade for us.

Doesn't show up on September 11th cruise? Is it not available or not until boarding? Also Enterntainment is not available either?

Any ideas?

We are on her September 11. Balcony as always.  Looking forward  to seeing her for the first time !

Balcony's for us. I can't imagine an inside cabin for us , but thats us.

MY FCC took almost 7 months and numerous phone calls. Their acct department must only work 1 hour a week as they are the only ones that can process them.

What are the new rules?

Can we get off the ship and take 3rd party excursions or just shop on our own? Is there a list somewhere of the new everchanging rules?

Yup, we received the email as we had booked directly. Did a cancel and rebook onto Oasis  ( different Itinerary )  and  will recive a $300. refund . Then this AM I hear that Oasis is going in to be " Amped"  RC didn't say anything about that last night. Hope we still get to cruise on March 2021?

We finally received about 75% of our refund. RCCL told my TA that it was released and should be refunded in about 7-10 days.  Took about 30 for the first part.

Patience was waning, but we did rebook for a 2021 cruise.

We are currently booked again in March 2021. Hope to do a short cruise prior just to get rid of the Covid Funk that everyone is in.

We board her next Thursday to go north . So excited !

55 to one and 214 to the next

I was able to sign up for all three of the shows last night ! . Now DW wants to know about water shows and comedians and who ever is on this cruise. Any help ?

We did get to do the Trikes !

it was a blast and we would do it again !

i just learned they closed that office down 

We rented ours in ST Maarteen. They provided helmets and wanted to see my DL. Traffic is such a mess close to the port, but after that its ok. DW and I loved the bike and despite a short downpour, the rest of the ride was wonderful. The bikes have reverse so that makes it easy to park. We took towels and the go pro and had plenty of room for storage. Insurance was not talked about. ? We did receive a map, but once it got wet it was useless.

French side is still in very bad shape.

Maho beach was fun and we had lunch at Orient Beach. Water was wonderful. All in all we would do it again !

We even got back a little early and he reduced our costs.

Hi we were on the same cruise as the OP and were in cabin 6340 - which is the same room as you but we were on the 6th floor while you are on the 8th floor. We loved this cabin, its right next to the stairs and elevators and for you - you are only 2 floors from the Pool deck and Windjammer and only 3 floor above the Promenade deck. We prefer deck 6, but 6 thru 8 are great locations - oh and you are on the hump as well.

We were right next door in 6338. We love the Hump Cabins on any floor.

No Water slides on Freedom yet.

Choco bar adds semi sweet chocolate bars to the grilled cheese. They make their own chocolate.

We bought some to bring home too.

Power was only out about 3-4 blocks back from the port. Ralph lauren , CVS, Walgreens etc. Hadn't lost power the day we were there.

We felt bad for the smaller locations that had lost power.

Visit Choco Bar for their grilled cheese ! I promise its worth it
