I did this trip last year and it worked fine. My scooter fit under the bus and I parked it downstairs for the class and walked up to the classroom. It was a lot of fun and they were very kind

Since carrying things are a real challenge for me, we bring a tray from home to use. It takes up very little space in our suitcase and makes things a whole lot easier.

We sailed to Boston, Portland, St. John, and Halifax. Portland and Boston were reversed due to the tropical storm.

Next month we will be going to Halifax and saint johns. Can I ask what you did in saint johns? We have figured out what we want to do in Halifax.

Our last cruise I took a medium sized beach ball and my DH blew it up 2/3 full. It made a wonderful footrest!:)

I have done it frequently on RCCL so when I saw it posted that it would be done on the Fascination last year, I was really excited. It was totally boring! Done in the main theater and the host were more interested in flirting with each other than leading the game. People left in droves.

I've sailed most of the major lines and they all had hair driers in the rooms. I had no problem holding down the button either. I can see if someone had arthritis it might be a problem.

You can take some rubber bands and twist them over the on switch to save your hands.

About 6 years ago we were assigned to a table with 2 couples that each had a child. Not the most fun because all the conversation was geared for kids. Not horrible but not great.

The dollar store usually has great seasonal window clings that I bring to decorate the balcony door or mirror. Makes the room festive without using any space.

Vision is going to Europe 10 April 2015 and there is no schedule for May 2016.

We have never been on this ship but are looking forward to the crossing we have been on the sister ship legend 3 times that is ace.

Vision is leaving 4-11-2015 for Europe.

I would appreciate some info from someone who has taken Amtrak from the north(DC)into Tampa. We are changing from the train unto the bus in Orlando. Is it confusing to do? Are there hotels that will pick you up at the train station. How far is it from the port? TIA

We are coming in by train and would be interested in any recommendations for a stay in a decent hotel with shopping close by. TIA

We will be on the Vision next April for the TA, and have a Panoramic Oceanview Cabin on Deck 7 (7084).

 

If you have any possibility to take a photo of that cabin or any other POV cabin we would be very grateful!

 

There are photos of these cabins on other Vision-class ships online, but not on Vision, herself.
