  1. Preface: If your going to throw flames, move onto the next topic.

My son and girlfriend are sailing out of Mobile with another couple.  He was proactive and did all his registrations a while back.  His friend did not. Result: They have a boarding time 2 hours apart. (Yes, I am aware they can board together using the later time), but does anybody know if Mobile is strict about enforcing the boarding times?  Can they all get on early together using the earlier boarding time? Thanks for any information in advance.

  2. I've cruised many times, but this time we are taking kids and grand kids. To put my daughters mind at ease, am looking for any information from those of you that have used Camp Carnival before. The grand babies ages are 8 and 6. Any info will be appreciated.

  3. Last cruise i was on they now delivered to your room once again. No need to worry about prices, Carnival will price match, snap picture at store in Port and have them match.

Didn't know about the delivery since I saw no need to purchase the alcohol at increased prices. Not much of a deal anymore. Definitely not worth lugging all the extra weight off the ship!

Unfortunately, the stores in the port aren't dumb, they raised their prices to match Carnivals!

  4. Disregard all those saying senior rate doesn't exist. I am booked on a cruise in November and was originally on an early saver rate, but a couple of weeks ago the senior rate came up and saved me over $100. Now I have that much more credit on my account. It does come up, you just have to keep looking.

  5. Here's my simple view of it. Carnival puts out a"pilot" program to effect some sort of cut. In a short wjhile they will announce that since most "guests" (whether this is fact or not, we will never really know) opted for the "once a day" cabin service In order to please said "guests", that will now be the new policy. Now it's not a cutback, but simply a means to please its guests. Brilliant!

  6. Just got off the Paradise on 12/12. Went to get my purchases (bought in duty free shop in Cozumel, cheaper than on board) around 7:15. Approximately 100 people in line in front of me already, took about 30 minutes. A lot of frustrated people, due to some disorganization and lack of information from crew that there were actually two lines, one for liquor purchased off ship and one for liquor purchased on board.
