Is 750mL a standard bottle?

Also, "1 bottle per person" do they restrict to adults only or do kids count too? I.e. can a family of 4 only bring 2 or 4? ;-)

Sailing soon on the Dream and our first stop will be Montego Bay, Jamaica. I just thought at this stop we could make our way to the beach or something.... But now I'm looking at it and researching.... I'm getting worried!!!!! What is something that I can do here with the kids? Something safe...? Any recommendations? I'm not really interested in paying lots of money to go to a beach or resort beach/pool (like $50+ each, no thanks)... Is that pretty much all you can do though??

 

Also, what about this rum cake? Is that near the port? Is there shopping maybe? I don't know!!

 

Are taxis safe? What's the best thing to do!?

 

In Cayman we are doing Stingray City, Starfish Beach and one Reef stop (Acquarius Tours). In Cozumel we are planning on doing the Mayan ruins on mainland.

Did you sail already? How did you get to Dr. Cave Beach? Also how was the Acquarius tour in GC? What time was it at?

I think RB's post was 'tongue in cheek' about smoke from smokers drifting that far up, especially while the ship is in motion. :)

Shoot :( Not much I can do. I called them and ship is 100% full. Im hoping for the best. I gag at cigarette smoke.

I go in 2 weeks and booked 8350, midship near elevators. However I am nervous because smoking is permitted on port side on Deck 5 and some have reported smoke smell travelling up :( Hoping is not an issue!

1. Order some coffee from room service on day 1. You will receive a coffee pot full of coffee with some mugs.

2. Drink coffee.

3. Rinse coffee pot and keep in your closet to reuse all week.

4. As long as you keep the empty in your closet the steward will not take it.

Thanks for the info. I was not really concerned about the boys being so far..they are wickedly independent, and have done overnight and weekend trips by themselves. If we tell them to meet us at a certain time, they will :). I have also had friends who bought walkies with them, and used them to communicate with other people they were traveling with. might do that.

 

Not worried about when we'll hear, but so far, everyone I've spoken to has said we might now in as little as 2 weeks from now, since we're pretty close to sailing (our last two cruises, we booked MONTHS and MONTHS in advance!). i know that it can only get better for the boys, but they don't seem to care at all that they are down there in the bottom! from what i understand, this ship is pretty close to full-that does bode well for us, i guess!

Lola, we are sailing the Legend on 5/25 and got our cabin assignments today. We booked a balecony guarantee and got an 8G extended balcony. Good luck!

:confused: Does anyone know if there is a way to go to the front of the ship on the Legend? We were on RCl MOS and were able to go all the way forward. Makes for some nice shots. If I remember right this is not secret door on this ship.

 

P.S. By the way, though the MOS was a nice ship, i really liked Carnival better. :)

I may be mistaken, but I think I remember someone saying the secret doors were located in the Enchanted Forest. It's on a thread here but can't remember which.
