To think I started counting down to this cruise at just over 700 days

18 days - Mexican Riviera on the Splendor.

746 days - Mexican Riviera on the Panorama.

We boarded the Inspiration on July 4, 2016. That night, the ship swung close by Catalina Island to watch the fireworks. The Imagination and Miracle were there to watch, too. After the fireworks, all the ships went on our own merry way.

I'll be on the Carnival Panorama leaving on July 4th, 2020. It would be great if Carnival did the same thing again by sailing near Catalina Island to see the fireworks.

74 days - Mexican Riviera on the Splendor.

802 days - Mexican Riviera on the Panorama.

I have cruised 2 times already with Carnival. This July will be my 3rd, with a 4th cruise on deck in 2020. I have stuck with Carnival because of the price and convenience (living 45 min. away from port is nice).

I noticed this when I made my final payment. We hadn't planned any excursions yet. I kind of like having the 2 days at sea towards the end of the cruise. On the flip side, a heads up email notice by Carnival would've been courteous stating that the itinerary changed. Hope those on the same cruise aren't affected too badly by this.

FTTF is now $90?!?!

Would like to see this menu implemented come July on the Splendor :D Definitely would hit this up!

Yep, I noticed this too every time I make a payment online. It resets to twins beds, even though I had previously save it to king. Just have to change it back every time I guess till that "glitch" is fixed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Put a 48 hour hold sailing July 4th, 2020 on a category 8C balcony. Will more than likely pull the trigger on it by this Friday.

Hmmm... Wonder if the old menu will still be available this July. Hoping for the new menu.

I experienced my first balcony stateroom in 2003 when I cruised to Alaska. It's been the balcony ever since.

Thanks for the posting the video. Great to see the new changes to the LB Terminal. Quite the turnaround. Will see it first-hand come this July :cool:

Well I'm stoked for the Panorama coming to Long Beach. I don't mind the Mexican Riviera itinerary at all. I'm sure over time, it may sail to Hawaii which would be excellent. But I'm very much looking forward to 2019 now ;)

I submitted my Steakhouse reservation for 3 for the 2nd night of our cruise on the Splendor in July. Got my confirmation later the same day. Was surprised on how quick that was! Looking forward to some fine dining.

Will be cruising on the Splendor come July 7th. Look forward to what people have to say about the itinerary/experience this time around on the Mexican Riviera.
