Sweet justice is that if they did damage the doors that Carnival would not only ban them for life but send them a bill for the repairs.

We pick mornings because it is nice to come back to a nice clean stateroom in the middle of the day. If we choose nightly service then it means that our cabin has messy beds and a dirty bathroom all day and the only time we get to enjoy a clean room would be only for a few hours at night before we turn in for the night. And while some people say they are never in their cabin during the day we can say that is totally untrue of us. We are always running back to our cabin to brush our teeth after lunch, change our clothes if we get too sweaty, retreat to our balcony if the pool area is too loud and crowded and yes, at our ages of 70 and 72, to take a nap.

If we get off on a Saturday we need to be at the vet 's to pickup our fur baby before noon. If not we can't pick her up until Monday which adds two more days of boarding fees (Saturday and Sunday).

A bottle of sparkling water with two champagne flutes and a box of chocolate truffles. ⚓🚢

On the flip side think of how fast your little one will reach Diamond Level if they cruise once a year starting at the age of 16 months. ⚓

We did a January 2018 cruise on the Triumph and there were plenty of desserts to choose from during their luncheon buffet.

I can't imagine per person would work. Imagine having to pay for a two year old to take advantage of FTTF.

My sister gets sick if she gets too much sun so we usually sit at one of the tables near Guy's Burgers.

The last two cruises we took out of New Orleans the cruise line used our photos from our passports so our Sign and Sail cards already had them on it before we even received them.

I've driven 3.5 hours for a four day cruise, once.

We had a center Aft on the Triumph several years ago. On Deck 7. We had no trouble with ash or soot but did find it was a little hotter than a regular side facing balcony. Even when we sat in the shady, covered part of the balcony.

I grew up loving books especially since my mother was our town librarian way back in the 60s, early 70s. I remember her telling me that books are meant to be read and not to be gathering dust on a shelf.

We didn't have them on the Triumph the week of January 15th of this year. It sounds like a great idea and hope it eventually goes fleet wide.

Stuffed mushrooms and the vegetable lasagna.

Beautiful photos. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Congratulations Host Clarea. With the wealth of information that you provided us over the years I am happy to see the word "host" in the front of you name.

In our case it is one less charge that shows up at the end of our cruise.

We like to get off early. Even though it was a fun week we are tired, have a long drive ahead of us and want to get to the pet boarder before noon so we don't have to pay two extra days (Saturday and Sunday) to keep boarding our fur baby. And I know that our cat wasn't to happy being there and wants to be home so she has a whole house to roam around.

With such a low booking your changes of being upgrade to better seats are high. Of course this is coming from a person who has never flown nor care too. I remember my niece telling us that on more than one occasion she has been upgrade from coach to business.

We stayed in Lido cabins on the Triumph, Conquest and Magic among other cruise lines and love them. Once you are in your cabin you will be surprise how quiet they are even with all the action going on a few feet away.

If you flying you can rent a car and head towards Baton Rouge and visit the Plantation Country.

Several times we left luggage. Yes, l-u-g-g-a-g-e. They were filled with school supplies, etc. things were would not be bringing back. We always first ask if our cabin attendant can use them and surprisingly they all said yes. Most of them used them as extra storage to be stored under their beds. One told us that her contract was up and she was leaving to go home when we were disembarking and our luggage was a life saver. She was going to buy luggage at Walmart before we boarded but a Nirovirus had affected the cruise before ours (I remember that cruise) and everyone's day off was cancelled so they could disinfect the ship.

I called AAA and was told the Captain forgot to renewerw his membership. <smiling face> We were on her the week of January 15th and the only problems we has our cabin was too cold so we got on a chair and shut the vent. Problem solved. Second problem was that one night it was so rocky that they cancelled the Magic Show. So we left the theater and went to the casino. Problem solved again.
$50 spa voucher
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
It is a valid gift card. Depending on who you talk to in the Spa depends on what you can you it on. Twice I was able to use in on products. I love their Ginger and Lime Body Scrub. It costs $75 so with the gift card all I have to pay is $25.00. FYI - the scrub also sells for $75 on Amazon so anytime I can get it so $25 I won't hesitate. Another two times I was told that I can only use it on their services so since I am not a big fan of facials or massages I usually just bring the gift card home and show it to my non-cruising friends.
