Sounds to me like they take a hard line on their official policy statement but treat it loosely in actual practice on board.

Regarding the question of whether shareholder credit can be applied to gratuities, here is the answer I got from RCI today in an email.  

"Shareholder onboard credit cannot be used for gratuities or any pre-cruise purchases.  The onboard credit is be posted directly to your Seapass folio account and will cover your onboard charges."

Some earlier posts said otherwise. Maybe RCI sometimes permits exceptions, but this is their official answer to my question about it, so I wouldn't count on being able to use the credits that way.

Yes, call 800-435-3195 or email Premiercruisepark@BellSouth.net but forget about Gobal, they just take a markup for their website. Also, premiercruisepark has a ramp in Ft. Lauderdale which we have used and can recommend, just a few block north of the docks. And, THEY ARE NOT "Premier Parking Ventures", which were on the news last week.

Thanks for the great info, Neptuno, and for all the other posters' research and experience. I just called the 800 number and booked my reservation. $63 all inclusive for the week payable in cash upon arrival.
