  1. I think its a good idea. I feel for the bar servers when they get put in a predicament where they know they are serving drinks to the other person not on a package. I've seen them try to speak up and be torn to shreds. Just because you technically can get away with something why should you? I'm not talking about an extra cocktail here and there for another person but when its double double double all the time its crap.

Also, when did cruising become about drinking? LOL!

To the person who says their margins go down, methinks they'll be going up!!

  2. Hello! Can I ask if you can give a little more information on the websites you use? I know you can't say what they are, but there are like 4 of 5 that pop up when searching and usually I book last minute so scoop up a good deal on the companies website, but in laws want me to book a year out and I wanted to get the best deal for them and have found a few websites and wanted to know which are mentioned here. Cheers!

  3. Just got these through. Can't believe the prices. Would grab one of them myself if I wasn't already cruising then.

Rhapsody of the Seas - 25 November 2014, 12 night South Pacific - $560 per person inside twin!

Rhapsody of the Seas - 7 December 2014, 10 night South Pacific - $485 per person inside twin!

The bargains are certainly out there at the moment.

I don't see the 7th of Dec price on the RC website, is it somewhere else?

I just booked up on the christmas cruise at *70 each, what a price! Under $2000 including tips. I am very happy! :)

  4. Unlike other things people are wailing about big brother trigger to clamp down on, smoking is invasive and affects other people around you. Someone chewing down on bacon, or enjoying a drink or two is not affecting you, your personal space or your health. I love having a balcony but everytime we have had smokers next to us and we cannot enjoy it, sit out there or leave a door open when they are puffing away. It is inconsiderate to others because you are affecting us whether you mean to or not. I think it is a sensible idea. I don't care whether you smoke or not, it's your choice too, but it's not your right to assault all my senses with your cigarette smoke surrounding me in my cabin,

Some other people have written amazing responses about cruise ships bottom line for business (the 80% non smokers etc)

Im over the moon! My husband and I will be very happy to sail ncl in November!
