There are a ton of hotels. However, many near MCO will not have too many amenities with all of the restaurants around. My recommendation is to look at what you want to do that evening (dinner, drinks, etc). Find a hotel within walking distance and choose it. There are tons of hotels with places right next door. We arrive at 10PM and expect to be at our hotel at 11PM. I wanted a place with a bar open that late. There was only one place I could find and it was Hooters. I know the hotels right there and they are nice. We chose in that little area because I could stay for free, walk to Hooters which is open late, free breakfast, and a short walk to Walgreens if we need any last minute things before our ride picks us up.

You are also getting in early enough to make the run to PC. There is not a drastic price difference in the hotels right now for 12/08. If it were me, I would go to PC in that case the night before. It is only worth staying near MCO if the price is drastically less and/or you are getting in late at night.

Look around Semoran Blvd (sp?), Augusta National Dr.  There are multiple hotels in the area close to lots of bars/restaurants.  Almost all have airport shuttles and the port shuttles (Cortrans, Cruise Control) pick up at them.  Our favorite for a longer stay is the Marriott but for one night we are staying at the Fairfield Inn with complementary breakfast.

  2. We will be arriving in Orlando around 6:00pm (12/8/21) the evening before the cruise.  Our plan is to stay in Orlando and get a shuttle to the port the next morning.  Can anyone recommend a hotel not too far from the airport.  Don't really want to stay at the airport. Our plan is to check in and then find somewhere nearby to eat.

  3. I am currently booked in the 2 bdrm suite on the Escape.  The price has went down so much that it looks like I could upgrade to the Owners Suite.  Has anyone stayed in this suite?  Looks like it is a forward suite and I have never stayed in a forward cabin.  If anyone has stayed in both a 2 bdrm and an Owners Suite, can you let me know if I should pull the trigger on this.  We really didn't need the 2 bdrm but I took the upgrade when the price dropped the first time a couple of weeks ago.  Any info on how everyone feels about the Owners Suite would be great.  The ones that are currently available are 18100, 17700, and 17100

  4. Has anyone taken the NCL excursion to St Martins and the Bay of Fundy.  I dont typically book ship excursions, however, I have some OBC to burn and thought this might be a good way to burn it.  We really want to walk in the sea caves.  I saw a couple of other excursions recommended by others, but they were all private and do not do individuals (there is only 2 of us).  If anyone knows of other excursions that will take just 2 people that would be great.  Would love to find one that would go to the caves during  low tide.

  5. I see you redeemed a My Vegas reward for a reward. I am a little confused about how to do this. Do you know if I have a cruise already booked if I am able to do this. Kinda reads like I can’t but would really appreciate any info you have. I have millions of points burning a hole in my pocket. Thank you so much for any info you have

  6. I will be traveling in the Haven on Sept 23 on the Escape. We are interested in going to one of the comedy shows and other shows that will not be in the theater. Can anyone tell me if we just line up outside the venue with everyone else or is there any special lines or seating. Don't have a problem lining up with everyone else just want to make sure I understand the procedure. I think I had read there is only special seating in the theater.
