  1. There are some shops in the immediate port area.  DH and I were in Freeport in July right after cruises started up last year.  Many vendors were closed, like Senor Frogs, but there were still some shops open.  Not sure what it is currently like though.

  2. We did the Beack Break Pass in 2020.  It included lunch at the buffet and access to the beach.  It is cheaper to book that through RCCL than to book through Blue Lagoon directly.  And, yes, you have to take their ferry to get to the island.

Me too.  It is only after I put in the info for my 8/22 sailing (which I already bid on) that I get the error.  I can still check the status by using the link in my confirmation email

Probably a funky IT glitch or error going on...

A request for someone onboard right now...

Could you get a rough measurement of the diameter of one full pizza at Cafe Promenade? Perhaps using a Cruise Compass or other 8.5x11-inch paper as a basis since I doubt anyone carries a ruler around. 🙂

lol.  We saw someone last week with it on one of the regular plates from the promenade cafe.  It spilled over the sides a little bit.  Not sure if this helps!

RCI should've done the same thing on Adventure. What, the covid virus is only going to target Adventure and give Freedom a pass?  Makes absolutely no sense. Also, why are RCI staff wearing masks outside on Coco Cay (key), when they've been vaccinated?

I think it is just a PR move by RCI. It sure as heck has nothing to do with the science.

Not going to lie, DH and I sat at the bar while we “waited” for our drinks to me made and cashed out by the bar tender.  If we were feeling up to it, we stood at the bar.

I also agree that it is a very silly rule!  The *only* explanation I could come up with is that maybe they don’t want us too close to other people’s drinks being made? 🤷🏼‍♀️

There's also a floating bar at South Beach, so it looks like you have several options to choose from! 🙂

South Beach is closed to guests right now. It’s for crew only.  They moved that floating bar from South Beach to Chill Island.

  7. There is a floating bar on Coco Cay down in Breezy Bay (Number 21 in the photo).  We were on Adventure last week and swam out to the bar.  You can walk out most of the way but there is a drop before the bar where you have to swim a few feet.  They take the Seapass cards there. There are not frozen drinks out there.  It was really nice!

  8. DH and I just disembarked the Adventure today.  We had a wonderful cruise and found everything to be very safe on board.  I loved being served at the windjammer rather than everyone touching the same serving utensils 🤢.

There were only 1,075 passengers on board and it was AMAZING!  No lines, no chair hogging, and no issues getting loungers on Coco Cay. I know it won’t be like this for long but it was amazing.

Because we left from Nassau we had a little extra leg work to do.  We needed the Bahamas Health Visa and a PCR test before flying to Nassau.

If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask away!
