  1. We had the pleasure of sailing on the Summit in a sweet 16 cabin a few years ago and it was great and not noisy at all and we really enjoyed the larger veranda. Now last year we sailed on the Reflection in cabin 6107 and every port day the noise in the morning from the line handling or anchor deployment was extremely loud and the vibration was crazy.
I would say forward cabins on M class ships are much better than those on S class.

I think the $700 we are getting back a bit over the top to donate. We will donate a decent amount but no where near that. We do regularly donate to charities at home

I also believe that each person should decide how much they want to donate, but seeing that you most likely paid for this cruise some time ago, and were  happy with that agreed upon cost, the $700 seems to me to be a windfall gained on the backs of people who have lost everything.

Spiked seltzer has become quite popular as of late, so much so, that it's surpassed craft beer sales. Being such a "summer style" beverage - I think it would be a big seller, especially on Caribbean itineraries. Personally, I love it as a beer or wine alternative.  Anyone else hoping X adds it to the alcoholic beverage options?

So, all the comparisons and comments aside, and going back to the original question, yes, I would love to see spiked seltzer added to the bars.

That’s a good price. It’s 8 for $18 at our beer distributor. The Walmart’s here don’t really sell to much food and they don’t sell beer, wine coolers or hard Lemonade products.

And the Walmart’s here do sell food products and I just saw the case yesterday for $10..

  4. Good morning, new to Port Everglades, leaving from new Terminal 25 for upcoming Celebrity Cruise, when entering the port are you able to drop off luggage and family before going to midpoint parking, or do you park and take luggage with you to terminal?

thanks in advance for your help.

  5. One thing came to my mind when I first saw pictures of the Edge, was the lack of a helicopter pad.  If I remember correctly, recently there was a lot of criticism of one of Carnival’s ships that they could not evacuate a passenger expidiciously due to a lack of one. Makes one wonder if the cruise industry is headed in the same direction as the airline industry, how to get more people into a smaller space.

We have done the ships excursion that is basically a ferry ride through the canal. We loved it. It was a long day, we were almost 2 hours late returning to the ship. It is a bus ride to the boat and there is a very good lunch served. You travel through the locks to the Pacific side and then are bussed back to the ship. Loved the experience and would do it  again!  Prior to our trip I purchased a few books from Amazon and read up on the canal and it made it even better. The Path Between the Seas is long but a very informative book that I have read more than once!

Thanks so much.  I’m going to book this excursion via the ship and very much looking forward to it. I just downloaded two books to read about the incredible feat of building this wonder.

  7. My wife and I have been on six X cruises, Reflection, Eclipse, and Solstice and three times on the Summit.  We simply love the size of the Summit, both the size and the number of passengers.  We come away feeling like we were pampered just a little bit more. We have an eleven night cruise coming in January aboard the Reflection going to different ports and I have been wondering if I’d like to start looking into cruising with Azamara because I think I would enjoy the intimacy of smaller ships and the ability to explore different ports.
