This is going to come as a shock to Celebrity, who keeps saying it's a $15 max drink price.

Well my 5 friends and I really lucked out this past February on the Reflection then because we never paid a penny more for any mixed drink. Yeah for us

There was a limit when we had the premium package on Celebrity. I forget what it was but we definitely couldn’t drink top end stuff ( champagne and the finest wines) without it costing extra.

Thanks.  Of course the wines and premium champagne had up charges I was only speaking of mixed drinks

It's fully explained on the Princess site. Limit of 15 alcoholic drinks per day (6AM - 6AM). No limit on coffee, specialty coffee, specialty tea, juice, or water. Water (including regular bottled water, Perrier, and San Pellegrino) can only be had in the smaller bottles.

Limit of drinks is $12 - before the auto gratuity (which is included in the price of the beverage package) which includes almost every drink on the ship. If you sail on a ship - such as Emerald Princess - that has the special Whiskey Adventure feature there are many items on that list above the allowed amount. This shouldn't be an issue as the bartenders know what is and what isn't allowed on the package. Most of the ships don't have that feature anyway. Bottles of wine can be purchased at a 25% discount. Don't forget to snag splits of champagne to take to the cabin for making your own Mimosas in the morning.

Thrak has done a great job explaining the Princess alcohol drink package.

As you know there is a $ limit on the Celebrity Premium package.  If you go over the limit you can pay the difference.  There is a long list of items that are over the limit.

With the Princess package, you cannot just pay the difference.  The cost of individual drinks are Princess are significantly less than the cost of individual drinks on Celebrity.  As a result there are very few drinks on Princess that are over the $12 limit.

    Thank you

  7. Hello from Los Angeles! I’ll be aboard this cruise. It’s been some years since my last cruise and I’m very much looking forward to it. I love the Celebrity brand and can’t wait to decompress from work and all of my responsibilities here in LA. The unfortunate part is I’ll be cruising solo (unless, of course, any of you know someone who’d be interested in sharing my ocean view stateroom with me). I hope to see some of you around. Cheers! MJ

  8. Way back in October of 2001 we were in a Celebrity Suite, but have not sailed on Celebrity since 2010. Soooo this will be a new experience for us. We cruise usually about 3 times a year and think it's a wonderful value. This Sky Suite has a larger balcony than many so we will have to have a get together for our group one afternoon or evening.

Have you sailed Aqua Class before? I would be interested in what you think of Blu. It will be fun to compare notes. We are flying into Newark on the 20th. Once we disembark in San Juan we are heading to the airport to fly to Ft. Lauderdale for a few days before returning to Indiana.

Yes we only did our first celebrity cruise last year..previously we were Princess loyalists...we were impressed by Celebrity though. We did Aqua class last time. I was impressed with the service. It’s a small room

So the entire staff gets to know you very quickly and I enjoy that’s. We are traveling with friends who are in concierge class so

We mostly be dining with them for dinner outside of blue. Right now we are planning on flying back to CT after one or two nights in San Juan but heading to FLL is still an option. It’s our favorite go to destination
