  1. We just returned from our trip with the Oceania Riviera which had a stop in Santo Tomas. When you get off the ship there is a building with vendors selling tours and goods.

We did a tour with Happy Fish to the waterfalls. We had a driver and guide and the drive was about 30 minutes over very bumpy roads. The tour was very nice and an easy walk around the grounds. I think it's about a mile total and you see 3 waterfalls.

There is nothing to walk to from this port and I would not advise leaving the port area on your own.

  2. We enjoyed our Best of Roatan tour with Bodden Tours. After disembarking from the Oceania Riviera their kiosk was easy to find and they had all our information. We were whisked off to our car and met our driver Howard. He was very informative and knowledgeable. We drove around the island, stopping when we wanted, and had a great day.

The roads are very bumpy with many potholes. Howard did a great job navigating around them, but be advised if you get car sick or can't take bumpy roads, this might not be the tour for you.
