Serene, I have sailed the Inspiration twice, Glory twice, I think she had one, Triumph, Freedom, Legend (did not), Destiny. The soda machines (the one with cans) were inside a small room, like where inside cabins were.
-
I have sailed several Carnival Ships that did have soda machines. They were on the same deck as our cabin. But, in a room, I will say 3 ships had them. Wonder if they are for the stewards, who knows, I bought canned soda from them all the time.

The 4 cabins in our group were all able to snag FTTF for the Dream. I saw how many were available on Carnivals site, clicked on manage my cruise and plan activities.
First time for FTTF, thought with so many pax and Belize and maybe Costa Maya, it would be nice.
And of course being able to drop off all the carry on bags so we have a hand for a dod and my buffet plate.:)

jolly has beautiful but milky blue water, no snorkeling. never been to dickenson..we did a snorkel catamaran thru the ship last month..we never go with the ship but the cats were right there..they go to a "reef" which is the deadest reef i have ever been to, jump in one lap around and back on the cat..weird..they didnt point out anything just weird. but they pop the sail for a ride to a beach, ft something it was. the locals come out of the woodwork to try and sell their wares. clear water no coral..
my pals did the circumnavigate with eli and loved it.. i think darkwood has snorkeling too...

its fun, and easy to find your cabin while walking down the loooong hallway. hahaha i use tac-n-stick i get it at walmart or hobby lobby. it will not damage the doors. some doors a magnet will hold on too. we usually have a group so i make a sign for everys cabin door. anniversary pics, fish, palms, tutti-fruittis. its fun. i made a bride/groom for last mays cruise for a cc pal. never did meet them but she emailed and thanked me for it. in fact i made signs for all the pals on deck 7. :)

or??? maybe some folks do not like being ripped off. i hate being ripped off, we get enough of that with everyday living. and geeeee we r quite over 21 ourselves.

we have been on 6 carnival cruises and always take a bit of rum and some beer. i put a 6-pack in a walmart type bag and tie a knot, then set it in an soft-sided cooler. i take a wheeled duffel with my snorkel/mask, beach towel shoes..sometimes i take 2. i never tried the soda box thing, am going on mariner soon, i will do this. then i can carry soda on to go with rum i put in ziplock bag and add to my cosmetic case. i have tended bar for 23 yrs and i think $20 for 5 beers is high. we even take beer to all-inclusives so we can have one in our room. we dont partake very often but on vacation we like to have a few cocktails in our room. we will spend plenty onboard, they make a killing, espically if they miss a port due to inclimate weather. i think they have had alot of problems with drunks jumping off and being foolish, they try to make it like grade school, but then again alot of drunks need to be treated as such. so they kinda watch espically during spring break with all the kiddos. i am picturing u taking 2 cases! hahaha we buy beer at the ports and put it in my backpack, the guys that x-ray dont care usually, they expect u to drop off any booze at the little table to be given back on the last nite..i have never done that, they just want u to spend your booty on their overpriced drinks. money maker big time...have a great cruise!:)
