My biggest problem is that in about 16 days I will be chompin' at the bit to go on another cruise..lol

Single digit dance started today!! 9 more days whoo hoo:p

so if i'm doing my math right you have to spend $12,500 to get 5000 points to get offered a "free" cruise???
Actually, I think they spent about $2,000 (5000/2.5) right?

Glory was one of the ships that has been experimenting with the "American Table" theme and a little different menu. Some folks have been really disturbed that they took away the tablecloths except on elegant night!
hmmm..I can only imagine that it saves some money; anyone have a pic of a table sans tablecloth..I am not really disturbed, but I really did like the atmosphere of the dining room with tablecloths, so I guess I will see for myself at the end of the month. thanks

Hi,
Thank you for the quickie review; What do you mean no tablecloths? In the dining room? thanks

great review...cant wait for the rest.

I wish they offered HMC instead of Nassau on some of the 7-day Eastern Caribbean itineraries. I'd love to do HMC/St. Thomas/St. Maarten.
The Glory has a similar one...HMC, St.Thomas, San Juan and Grand Turk...May 9th next year...love it

Let me explain it to you slowly... CARNIVAL SAID TO DO THIS not me.. It was not a question of affordability.. ;)
The other two guests brought their own drinks.. All they did was sit at a table..
Tell me something.. if you rent a beach house Can you not invite others for a drink? You paid the rental, you paid for the drinks, the drinks are yours to do what you want with if you so chose..
It's not like they slept over
Its not like they 'took' anything away
I went to the excusion desk with 'money' in hand to pay.. THEY Told me no
Get a grip:rolleyes:
Hi Toni...you are right; they said that at the excursion desk (just get it for four)(we actually only had two, told them 4 because we knew some friends would stop by)...anyway; I think they only charge over 4 to try to have a little control...by no means is this stealing...lol ...geesh, I stopped by a few cabanas...lol...eek yours in fact...maybe I should've paid! Ok..sry..didn't mean to be mean...By the way...Lisa....I think you miss HMC!!!!:)

Sry...am posting 3...had a GREAT time in Cozumel this year in May; 1st one is on the catamaran for the Snorkel, sail and beach party....FUN it was! and the water was beautiful!
This store was in Cozumel; I just loved the colors
These were in the churchyard when we were leaving Cozumel...don't know why, but we loved them

I booked on the Valor and my TA told me that carnivals rooms are smoke free.I am hearing differant here on this board. Are they smoke free or not???? I requested a smoke free room and she told me they all were.?? Just want to make sure there are no surprises when we get there.Thesawch
Carnival is not smoke free and to the best of my knowledge no rooms are "smoke free"; I have been on two cruises though and they do a great job of cleaning: if you have any issues tell your cabin steward and they can usually take care of anything (ie even smoke smell in room)
-
They tried that with the Paradise... did not work as the revenue was not enough to keep the ship open.
That is because there were other Carnival ships to pick from...if they went totally smoke free, bet there would filled boats

Are pools open on the Magic right now?
