I read on here many years ago...........

The Guest/Cruiser came back to their Cabin

after the BTB meet at the Service Desk

Their cabin had been clean out...............

The Steward may have been new............

And threw everything in the trash..........

If you have the same cabin on both trips, do you have to pack your suitcases after the first leg? The PVP I had link my trips said I would. I don't understand why...its the same cabin! Will they take my luggage off then bring it back up?? :confused:

My many BTB Cruises in the same cabin.

Never have I sit my luggage out after the first Cruise.......

to make sure your name is on the list.............

Also make sure your Cabin Steward knows you are BTB.........

Barbara and Cruise Mojo! Nice to hear you're enjoying a voyage or two before Fascination heads south, to PR, for a couple years. Wonder where she'll go next?

It will be bittersweet, but we see so many of the crew and officers on many other ships. We never know who we will find! Or who will spot us! :) It's not like we have to ever say good bye:D. Mirela, GSM and Julio, our crazy Cuban Doc, are going to Conquest in a couple months. Reckon we have some Conquests in our future.

One more trip on the old girl. Many of the old crew are being scattered, or have already been reassigned. We just have to go to more ships to visit. Always a wonderful time! :)

Can anyone help me with a luggage question? We received a call from our travel agent yesterday. We were told that on our upcoming B2B cruise , we would need to pack our suitcases and set them outside our room. They would then be taken downstairs and later returned to our new cabin. That cabin is across the hall from our first cabin! When I called Carnival to confirm this info, they agreed!!! Can this possibly be true??? Help.

He had the Cabin clean the second Cruise...

I moved my Luggage myself...................

Because they are sooooooo busy.....................

So this is for the B2B folks and is meant to be a friendly question. not attacking or judging but my question is why? And then I'd have to ask if you've done multiple B2B's, WHY?

Hi all! I'll be traveling on the Fascination in a couple of weeks with a picky eater. Can anyone tell me if chicken tenders are available at the buffet or in the MDR? Thanks!

Yes......I can answer that Question..............

The Chicken Tenders/Nuggets are very good..........:)

They are where the Burgers,, Fries,,& Hot Dogs are........

And I am going to guess yes in the MDR...........

Since you asked:

 

1- Lifeboat drill took 1 hour 18 minutes total time

2- I am disabled, live with chronic muscle and joint pain, when they said I had to climb steps I asked if I can take an elevator up and the woman put both her hands up and shrugged her shoulders and said "oh well", you have no choice

 

 

The staff ALL were friendly, in fact, we knew many of them and they always addressed us by our first names and all were very friendly, they truly made the cruise nice...also we had the best cabin steward too.

 

I am guessing the Woman-Staff person must have been new on the Ship...

I have been in some Muster Stations,,the Staff member in-charge will say,,,,,if you can't climb stairs just stay seated...

I am looking forward to seeing those friendly Staff Members....

We are doing a B2B in Jan. We have done a couple of B2B's but this is the first time that we will have to change rooms. We are actually just moving next door. What can we expect? Usually when we have a B2B we don't have any problems and are told that it is okay to go back to our cabin at any time. When will we have to move our things over to the next cabin? I have been told that we won't have to pack everything up but a lot of things us. I would have thought it would be easier to just change drawers but are unsure if the drawers actually come out.

 

Has anyone done this?

My last BTB was on the Sunshine..........

I had to change cabins........

My two cabins was just across the hall from each other......

I had the same cabin Steward........

I talk with him, told him I was doing a BTB........

I packed everything up........

The morning the Ship pulled back in to home port

as soon as the guest left out of the cabin(my cabin for the 2nd Cruise.......

The Steward and his helper started cleaning that cabin......

They are soooooo busy...............

It was easy for me to move my things myself.......

They ask me if I needed help,,,,I said no...........

After I got moved I went on to where I was to meet the

other BTB Cruisers..............I did go back to my cabin...

After meeting the Customs Officer...

I noticed that the Fascination was replacing the Liberty

 

Does the ship have Guys, New Pizza, Blue Iguana, etc?

I have been on the Fascination many Cruises...............

Not sure about the Pizza,,,,,,,, I don't eat the Pizza...........

Thanks, I might at least try it. Only thing is I like to get in and out. Sitting at a large table will slow things down I am assuming? Do they wait until everyone shows up before taking orders? If so I don't have the patience to wait for someone to "maybe" show up.

With ATD/YTD............You don't wait for others to show up.........

The wait Staff is there Quick.to start taking orders.........................

Most of my Cruises,are Solo I like ATD/YTD...........

I go to the Dining Room early,,,,I am waiting for them to

open the doors,,,,,,,,,I ask for a small table...........

You can ask for the same Wait Staff.each night...........

Tell them how you want your food bought to you....

I usually get a carafe of coffee from room service as suggested. However, I simply ask the room steward not to take it so I can use it all week. I would not put it in my closet or hide it in any way. I wouldn't want the steward to think my intentions were in anyway dishonest.

That's a good Ideal............:)

I am generally an early riser, DW is not. I like to go for a walk and stretch my legs once I'm up.

 

I know that I'm not supposed to bring my own coffee cup or thermos. I also know that room service will bring me some. But my problem is I wouldn't want to hang around waiting on them, and even worse, I wouldn't want them to show up while I wasn't there and wake the wife.

 

So my question is there somewhere I can pick up a carafe of coffee to bring back to my room so I can enjoy 2 or 3 cups on my balcony???

You can bring your own coffee cup/thermos...........

Here is Ideal,,,,,after the Wife wakes up, order coffee from room service

and keep the carafe ,,,,so you can use it for coffee from the Lido..........

Take the Carafe to the Lido fill it up with Coffee.................

Fascination has a great Staff and Crew.............

Hi everyone,

 

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what to expect at the Captains Lounge - I've had a hunt about on the web but the only lounge I can find any information on is the one in Miami.

 

I've rarely been impressed with lounges and what they have to offer before (airport lounges for example) but as its included in my package deal I just wondered if it was a genuine perk or just a shed or a glorified waiting room!

According to the web site, the Fascination should be out of dry dock now. Has anyone been on it that can report what changes were made? My understanding is that it's new carpet, drapes, etc. Anything else? We are sailing on the Fascination in September and would love to know! :D Thank you!

March-28th was the first Cruise after

have done 4 b2b's on the carnival fascination in jax.

 

Different cabin once due to upgrade. Room stewards brought us a nice cart and said they would be back in an hour. We hung things on cart and laid open suitcases on rack and just piled everything else on. They came back and we all went to new cabin . They hung every thing up and carried the other stuff to the bed...totally trouble free!!!!

 

When they announced departures started we went to front desk and gave them our customs card and exchanged room key cards for our new cabin. Couldn't ask for a smoother move.

Fascination is a easy Ship for BTB Cruising...............:)

I received a slightly updated schedule for 17 of the ships on a recent cruise, but I could not find that page until this morning. So some data will be more current. The new page does show Jason on the Pride as his regular ship. It also shows George Roberts as having the Fascination as his regular ship.
