  1. We are sailing on the Pride for the 3rd time on Dec. 1st. We were also booked for the November 30, 2014 cruise which has now been cancelled. Our first Pride experience was with a group of about 30 & we had a blast. Our second time was with our daughter as her college graduation gift. We think the staff on the Pride is the best out of all the cruises we've been on whether they were with Carnival, Royal or Norwegian. We love Roger in the Piano bar. He is so entertaining!

As we live only an hour from port it is so convenient & we will be sad to see her go! We tried the Enchantment of the seas and found her to be stuffy and catering to an "Older" crowd. (we are in our 30s/40s). I know that Royal is switching the Enchantment & the Grandeur, but the prices for the Grandeur are kind of steep compared to the Pride.

The Pride is our favorite ship, (with the Liberty a close 2nd)! I hope Tampa enjoys her as much as we have!

  2. Oh, it's true as they have now cancelled a couple of cruise around that time frame. The Pride was supposed to receive its upgrades in dry dock and then return to Baltimore for a re-positioning cruise which would take it to San Juan and then a cruise from San Juan to Tampa, its new home port. Now they have decided to take it straight from dry dock to Tampa and cancel the Baltimore to San Juan and San Juan to Tampa cruises. We were booked on November 30th, Baltimore cruise, which was to be the last sailing out of Baltimore for Carnival. Very disappointed!
