Depends on the sort of request, food allergy? That would be special_needs@rccl.com. Seating arrangement? AFAIK know the best place/time to do that is the first day asap when you get on board at the 3rd or 4th floor dining room (whichever is open) if you just want to sit with another party on the boat and the sailing is a few weeks out you can call the normal number and have your reservations tied together for dining purposes.

I have several of the western compasses from the May 6th sailing this year. Photobucket sucks anymore and I can’t figure imgurl out so I don’t really have a way to post them. Be willing to email them if you want them that way. I’d also email them to anyone who can host/post them, was trying to post them in ckrobyns live review thread but couldn’t figure it out.
I have all of days 1,2,4 and 7
We did the early dining and did the ice show after on night 1, the aqua show after dinner night 2, I think we saw all the main shows except for cats. Wanted to go back and see the secondary aquatheater show but ended up missing it.

Did you carry your bags off or did you wait and grab them when your number was called? We are trying to figure out our quickest and most efficient way off.
We walked off with our bags this am (2 adults and 4 kids worth of stuff, lol) we went to windjammer for breakfast and were back to the room and getting the bags by 7:45, less than an hour later we had disembarked and cleared customs and were back in our van in the parking garage. Just unloaded the van at home (Myrtle Beach area SC)
@ckrobyn, loved reading along even though we were on the boat (same floor also, 11149 Spacious (formally called Family) interior was our room).
Met some awesome new people who only live a few hours away and actually spent pretty much every waking hour with them on the boat.
Looking for another deal to book now lolol.

@ ckrobyn, if you haven’t had the coconut shrimp in the MDR tonight, it’s the best ap I’ve had all week

Anyone got any suggestions on places to buy vanilla and tequila? Also anywhere on land here you’d suggest eating lunch?

Are all these included in the drink package? I'm not really a big drinker, but would like to have the option without having a horrible bill at the end. Just can't decide...
Everything up to either $12 or $13 is included; if there is something you want more than that you just pay the difference, so only a buck or two. We have had all kinds of drinks from frozen to regular and haven’t yet had to pay an upcharge.

We weren't overly impressed with Ronn in December. Just not my kind of comedy I guess. I'm hoping they change the acts up by the next time we are on in November. It will be a real disappointment if it's a repeat.
I understand that completely, we enjoyed it enough to catch his “late” show last night, it was about 30-40% different from the early one.

we had the cards too, first night I think? Or the second? The strawberry bisque was delish! Does anyone know if they still do the peach chilled soup? We had that on the Mariner years ago on our honeymoon (4 kids ago lol) and it was my favorite. Is this something new in the MDR?And of course the main event

Tonight’s show “Come fly with me” has been the “Least Best” (they are all great, so I don’t know another way to explain it) for me. That being said we’ve seen the headliner Ronn the ventriloquist 2x, frozen in time and the main aqua show. The one tonight is the only one I wouldn’t be interested in seeing again this week. To be fair the one tonight was fantastic, just not really my style. I hope Saturday they have the secondary aqua theater show again, we missed it today dodging showers and I really wanted to see it.

I’ve got pics of the first nights MDR menu (think that’s the only one you’ve missed isn’t it Robyn?), along with almost every days compass (both normal and adventure ocean version) Once we get back home I’ll try to figure out how to post a pic and share them if there’s anyone interested. Oh and so far we’ve had a doggie, a swan, and a monkey for towel animals. Think Dan Dan said this was his first week onboard as cruise director, I like him.

but strangely enough 90% of the drinks we (wife/kids and I) have gotten still have straws in them lolThis sign is now placed in most bars onboardSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Robyn, did you go to the love and marriage show Tuesday night? There was guy trying to be a contestant that was wearing black pants with neon geckos all over them! They looked cool but not my style lol

First timer on the oasis, tried the kummelwik roast beef sandwich at the park cafe for lunch (not a huge roast beef sandwich fan) and even a little soggy from the rain, we carried it down to Sorrentos to let the kids eat pizza, it was amazing! I WILL be eating those again the next few days!

On board report: Enjoying a little “liquid sunshine” as the captain calls it on the pool deck!
Well I was gonna post a pic but can’t figure it out lol

Why are the beds so terrible on Royal Carribean? Other cruise lines have brilliant beds - HAL and Princess come to mind ......

Beds are a VERY subjective and personal thing, both my wife and I sleep much better on a firm bed than a soft one. I personally feel like I am being almost restrained if I sink very much into the bed. If I have to choose between a extra firm or a medium I choose the extra firm every time. It's easier to make a firm bed medium than a medium or soft I would think, but that would require them to keep the pads on hand I guess.

If you are going to do "family time" or "adventure time" dining (heard it called both, expedited service for the kids in your party and the AO staff meets you at the door 45 minutes into dinner to pick the kids up) you have to do traditional dining (the early seating afaik also)

I have and I really like it. The other party I’m with does too. My husband is a “pizza snob” and wasn’t a fan.

Thanks!

This, most of the time there are date exclusions for the kids sail free promo, summer and spring break are two of the times typically excluded.

If you try sorrentos pizza this trip let us know how it is!

Way too much thought and planning is being put into a crappy pizza stand. Enjoy your vacation, you'll figure it out.

For some of us, planning is part of the fun. ;)

So if we want to walk up and order a couple of all meat, extra cheese and heavy sauce pizzas, as long as we are willing to wait there shouldn't be an issue? We are sailing with a couple of other families we know (not an organized group thing, I found a good deal during the kids sail free sale last summer and shared it with some friends and they decided to jump on it too) and the dads and kids may do this one day and take it back to one of the bigger rooms or just hang out in Central Park to eat one day.

Thanks everyone, got a couple on order from amazon

To the poster who asked which ship, we will be sailing on the oasis

Sailing with 4 boys who ALL love pizza later this year and they've read or heard about Sorrento's and of course are excited for it. However, it seems as all I have read on here is critical reports of the pizza they have, can anyone who's eaten it recently compare it to a national chain pizza place so I have a point of reference? We have Dominos, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, and Pizza Inn (might be a regional chain, you don't see many of them around anymore) in our area.
Or even if it compares closer to a frozen pizza, what brand would you say it's similar to?

Didn’t work on oasis the first of last month, you had to have the WiFi package to use the RC app (not the Royal IQ app, oasis doesn’t use that one)
