Want to tour around. Have been to this island many time from Florida. We are two seniors so will probably hire a private car when we get off. We do use walkers but just for balance. They collapse easily and small so would fit on catamaran if we could find one. Would love a catamaran that we find someone offering at port...want to just be on water for day. All suggestions will be appreciated. We are on January 31 sailing southern Caribbean  solstice..so two days from now....Do you know of any reliable private guides who stand at port? thanks.

We had one once named Joyce...maybe I will contact her. She was great and I sent many people to her but since its last stop we may be too tired.

Has anyone planned any private tours or excursions for any port? If so, which ones and what? We are an active senior couple 💑 and would like to join with 4-6 others to save costs. We have been to these ports before but still would do activity we have not done.

Most of the last minute deals are price reductions. I don't recall seeing any perks with them.

Do you have to walk to pier exit or does Celebrity provide shuttle buses to gate? Understand it is A Loong Walk. If I know Celebrity they will have buses but want to be sure.

Heard it is a long walk from ship to dock exit at Tenerife. Does Celebri Celebrity provide shuttle buses at this port? Knowing Celebrity sure they would but would like to be even positive.:cool::cool::cool:

My main concern is will we be able to easily find our way into town via train from port without wasting time. Otherwise we will need guides to come to ports...and rail to town is faster.

I was on the cruises that you will be taking. Really interesting ports. The roll calls were filled with people organizing private tours and will provide you with the information you are seeking. Perhaps you will be lucky and have Capt. Nick on board.

Our roll calls are not full. Practically empty.this is the first time this happened in all our cruising.

We want to go with a non ship tour of Kyoto and Nara. We arrive Oct 2 at 11 am and leave Oct. 3 at 6 pm.

We do not mind staying in a hotel over night in Kyoto, possibly have dinner and see a traditional show. please let us know what sites to see you most suggest.

We arrive in in Shimizu on Oct 1 from Approximately 7 am till 3 pm. Do you know of any detailed tours of this area that will cover the Lake Ashi, Mt. Fuji, the ropeway and Hakone national park. We want to use non ship tours. Any recommendations? please write themayblums at yahoo dot com

I believe this is an extra cruise that Celebrity just scheduled.I am probably going to book tomorrow or the next day. It covers all the ports we want with enough time for us to take inland tours. I have not seen it posted before. If there is anyone who is ahead of us and has some ideas on the itineraries and ship or private guide tours, please let us know.
