Yes... just call and they will mail it to you.
I've never gotten my pins and have had to call. Kind of a bummer, but glad to have them (I have a pin wall filled with souvenirs from all of our travels so it's a nice addition)

Thank you! That makes total sense now. The rest of us haven't played in the casino yet, which explains why we don't have a status.

Where is it located on the SeaPass card?
I tried to post a pic but it's not letting me. Top right under the date of the sailing
-
Has anyone had CHOICE on their Sea Pass?
My daughter has one on hers, and so does MIL. .. And they are in a junior suite and I'm not... But the two others in their cabin don't have it.
We can't figure out what it means.

Thank you so much for posting your review.... We will be doing this as well and reading this has made me even more excited !!!

Thanks so much for answering all of the questions and posting your trip review! It sure does have me excited for our trip!!

Definitely interested in hearing about the motion...
Another question
Ketchikan and points north are in the AKDT time zone... not sure about Inside Passage... Vancouver is PDT... I assume the ship clock changes at some point -- can you let us know which day it changed for you?

P.S. The laundromat in Girdwood is part of a bigger building the houses other businesses, one of the herbal variety, so that should be interesting.
Party in Mike's cabin? :cool::'):cool:lol
We are only doing 3 nights and it's through RCL ... I'll have to scope out where there might be something walkable distance in Talkeetna or Denali (doubtful) ... Not sure theres enough time in Seward before having to get onboard. (one difference between RCL and Disney... They have self service laundry rooms... $35 for a tiny bag of laundry is crazy)
-
Do you know how much they are charging to do the bag of laundry?
Between land and sea, we'll be gone for close to two weeks... not quite sure how to pack in under 50 lbs of luggage unless we can do laundry!
(so far, it looks like the Anchorage Marriott doesn't have a laundry room, and I can't tell if the lodges for the land portion have them)

Speaking of formal nights, how have people been dressing for formal nights? My husband dislikes having to dress up. Is it OK for men to wear a nice button down shirt with a collar and dress slacks? He would prefer not to wear a tie or jacket. Thanks again for your help.
Judy
Yeah... same here... the guys in our crew are not planning on bringing jackets or ties.

Please let me know what time muster was held. We are sailing the southbound in August. Thanks.
Good question... We are doing the land tour first and I was wondering if maybe we would miss the shipboard muster and have to do a make up muster.
-
Thank you.. . Especially Cindy. That's exactly what I needed to know.
And blueridgemama... Totally get what you're saying about $1s and $5s. I don't tend to like to carry cash so I want to be well prepared. Want to have envelopes ready for certain things!
Thanks all!

Doing a cruise tour this summer in Alaska for 3 days.
What's your experiences with who/how many people should be tipped?
Bus driver?
Tour director?
Hotel stays?
Thanks!

it is a bummer. No matter what I do to try to keep the shower curtain from enveloping me never really works as well as I wish. I so prefer the glass doors!
There's a curtain?! This will be my time on Radiance. Would love cabin pics (and any ship pics)

WOW... this was amazing response! Thank you!!!!

I am looking for a recommendation for a shuttle/car service to the Vancouver airport -- staying at a hotel close to the port and flying home the day after we get off the ship. We are a group of 6 adults (with 2 weeks' worth of suitcases) with a flight back to the US around 9am (also wondering how early we need to be at the airport).
Thanks!

Thanks everyone!!! :cool::*

If you have done an Alaskan cruise and booked an excursion, in terms of getting back to the ship on time, have you felt comfortable booking a private excursion or is it safer to go through RCL?
I understand the whole, the ship will only wait for RCL booked excursions... but I would also suspect that the tourism economy is based on reputation and word of mouth and getting people back late for the ship would be no bueno.
Guess I'm just looking for reassurance that my thinking to go with private excursions is a good idea (within 99% certainty :p)
PS... if you have done a private excursion, any recommendations would be greatly appreciated (also looking on the Alaskan port board as well as Trip Advisor... just figured I'd ask)

We are doing the 1B cruise tour before getting on Radiance of the Seas in Alaska next summer.
If you have done a cruise tour (especially this past year), would you have a copy of the daily itinerary for the land portion (even if it's just from your own memory -- what time did you leave each morning, what time was considered your own time, etc)?
How do they communicate the details with you before the trip?
Do they have anything like a Cruise Compass for land that you get daily?
All I know is this, which is in the cruise confirmation... but don't know anything else or when I will find it out (if I want to start planning separate excursions, I don't know when to plan it for)
PRE CRUISETOUR 1B
ANCHORAGE MARRIOTT
RAIL AM - ANCHORAGE TO TALKEETNA
COACH TRANSFER, TALKEETNA TO DENALI
DENALI PARK VILLAGE
DENALI NATURAL HISTORY TOUR
COACH TRANSFER, DENALI TO TALKEETNA
TALKEETNA ALASKAN LODGE
COACH TRANSFER, TALKEETNA TO ANCHORAGE
ALASKA WILD LIFE CENTER
TRANSFER TO SHIP (ANCHORAGE TO SEWARD)
Thanks!

since you have since taken this cruise, but no one answered, do you now have the answer? I'd love to know :D
Also -- if you have any tips from your land and sea trip? We've booked this for 2018. TIA!

We just did this a week ago. Yes, it may be a little overpriced, but when you consider how much it costs to do other "excursions" (activities) on Labadee, it wasn't that bad. We had a great time -- it was a getaway to a little paradise island. I will agree with the above that there isn't food, and you only get one included-drink out of it... and yes, the island could use a bit of a quick clean up.... but it was a fun 20-minute boat ride from the pier to the island; the island itself looked like a mini Gilligan's island -- tons of sand and water to swim in; we didn't partake in the bar beyond the included drink, but you could if you really want. We just relished in how serene and quiet it was (especially compared with the rest of Labadee, where we couldn't even find a spec of beach to put our towels and bags). We didn't try to snorkel around there -- it didn't seem like there was much around to see, but it was just a nice peaceful place to get away from the mobs of people.
We walked the entire little island. Again, yes, it could stand to have someone go around and clean up sadly discarded trash (whether it was left there by past visitors or washed ashore)... but there was lots of great shells, sand and water to walk around.
We had a great 2 hours.

like others said above, I found very little information on Amiga Island until I found this post. Thanks for all of the great information... I just booked it for my February 2017 sailing. A little nervous that it'll be chilly, but that's why I get for booking a winter cruise lol

Just curious if you did this excursion, if you already had your sailing and what you thought about it...

Does anyone have any Compasses from February or March of this year from Adventure of the Seas?

So excited for your posts!
If you don't mind sharing the daily Compass, I would love to see them!
Also, would love to hear how the weather and seas are...
Have a fantastic trip!!
