  1. I am trying to contact Guest Services (haven't heard back) or Cruise Director.  Trying to find a place where a group could play Left, Right, Center on sea days.  Years ago we used a conference room by the Spotlight Lounge .  Thanks

    P.S.  email didn't work.

  2. After being on hold for 55 minutes, I finally got to talk to someone.  The code was to be used for SPA treatments only.  I told her several of my friends got the discount.  She said they weren't sure how Carnival was going to treat the discount people got!

Grandma Gail, as part of their Covid protocol, the Bahamas require a health visa for travel to or within the Bahamas. There is a fee (mine was $40. I have also read $60). You apply on line at the link jean87510 posted. Click the X on the “timed out” pop up to reach the home page. The process includes uploading a photo of your passport id page and vaccine card if you are vaccinated with approved brands of vaccine. Unvaccinated people have to provide proof of negative Covid test shortly before entry into the Bahamas and again a few days later. The website reads as if all travelers must get tested, but I am vaccinated and the visa I received said no test was necessary. Like everything everywhere, the procedure is evolving.

Checked with Carnival yesterday and they said it was not required at THIS time.  Things change daily.

  4. Just booked the Grandeur this past Sunday. This will be our 1st time on this ship and we're cruising the end of May. Does anyone who has just recently been on the Grandeur know the dining times? Is it 6:00pm & 8:30pm or 5:30pm & 8:00pm?

More & more cruises we've been on seem to be offering the earlier dining times. Just wondering what the Grandeur is doing. Thanks.

    Tim

Just got off 3/28 and the times were 5:30 and 8:00.

  6. Hello, this is Royal Caribbean International. We would like to provide you with important information regarding your sailing tomorrow, March 8, 2014, onboard Grandeur of the Seas out of the Port of Baltimore. Grandeur of the Seas has encountered adverse weather during its return to Baltimore. Because of this, Grandeur of the Seas' arrival to Baltimore tomorrow will be significantly delayed. Check in for your cruise will now take place between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., which is later than the times published in your cruise documents. Guests will not be able to access to the terminal ed until 3:00 p.m. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and looking forward to welcoming you aboard

  7. Would you rather fly to FLL

To take a newer ship? after rewarding about the fire etc and that it was built in mid 90's not sure how appealing it will be if we do LOS six months before.. Plus doesn't appear to have five nights anymore out of Baltimore and 8 is too long.

Well, I love the Port of Baltimore. The staff there knows their stuff. Easy on, easy off. I love the relaxing sea days. We are only 35 - 40 minutes away. The Enchantment has left Baltimore and Grandeur has returned. Grandeur was out first cruise on RCCL. I have not been on her since her dry dock or after the fire. I will go to other Ports but the itinerary has to been fantastic. Try it - you'll like it.

I really like longer cruises (10-14 days). More time to relax and visit Ports.
