  1. I just tried again on Edge, Chrome, IE, Firefox after clearing cookies and cache and using incognito windows. No luck. I got the following message:

No Cruise Critic Party details has been found on the given sailDate

I have tried to register for a party (my cruise is the end of May 2018 ) several times & received the same message, so I called Celebrity explained the problem & his best answer to me was that it was too early to register, try later !!

  2. We were on the 3/29 Silhouette 7 day cruise.

Chocolates were back - they were squares, different varieties (dark, milk) left each night. They were good.

On Silhouette this was the 2nd week of Bistro 5 having new menu (6 crepes, special of the day(sunday is Sunday roast), soup, salad,) with the $10 per head cost.

Sushi is at the OceanView café starting 5 or 5:30. Our children enjoyed it (it was a bribe to clean cabin and get promptly ready for dinner).

Last night in MDR was the Top Chef menu - it was very good- particularly the flank steak.

MDR food was good, bar service was good, Spa prices were more reasonable on March/April 2015 Caribbean cruise than on Med cruise July 2014.

Nice, friendly, very service oriented staff. Still had the nice touches of cool towels/drinks coming back to ship from being in port.

We were on the Infinity March 29th. We did lunch at the Bistro and it was $7. We also ate at Qsine & booked on ship when they were giving a discount of $13. I agree the chocolates were very good.

  3. the port is about one hour from Antiqua.

we took the ship bus tour "DIY" to the center of town and were dropped off at a tourist informaiton area. We hired a guide and each of us(4) paid $10.00 for a four hour tour plus we also ate lunch at a local cafe. the town could be done without a guide, but get a good map and do research before you go.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and visited Santa Cristina, the main square, a coffee shop where we tasted the diffenrt coffees of area and of course brought whole beans, a hotel that was a former residence, and Jade museum, and the vendor markets. It is a lovely town full of rich history.

I also thought the actual port area was one of the nicest of all of Central Amer. ports. Lots of vendor stalls, cafes, free wifi, and good shade.

    Hi,

Thank you for your info about the ships "DIY" tour, we are interested in that on our upcoming cruise.. How much time did you have in the town? Did the same bus bring you back to the ship? The reason I ask is we did a similar tour on a past cruise & the return trip was awful because there was no order to which bus was taking you back to the ship. You had to scramble to get a bus that had 2 seats available.

  4. I loved the glass blowing shows.

Just as a data point... IIRC, the three pieces auctioned on our Equinox cruise went for about between $250 and $450.

A question did come up during one of the shows asking about how many pieces get raffled off. They said they pretty much raffle off everything they make but that some pieces break (while setting over night (in the annealer?), during a rough/windy night at sea, etc) and essentially what a previous poster mentioned about not raffling off pieces that aren't up to snuff.

I have to agree we loved the glass blowing shows when we were on the Eclipse. At that time it seemed there were several raffles & I was very fortunate to win a ruby red bowl! Yes, it was a challenge getting it home since we had no packing material!!!
