  1. I think the best way to answer your question is to say that Stanley Park at 1,000 acres can't all be seen in a day. Throw in things like Granville Island, Gastown, the Maritime Museum, Chinatown and the Dr. Sun Yat Sen gardens.....sure you can keep busy for 2 days

Thank you so much for your time in answering everyone's questions. I'm sorry I did not get back to thank you for so long but I do appreciate your response!!!

    You are extremely helpful :D

  2. You all have been very informative. Having never been to Vancouver but having experienced HOHO's in many other cities, is there enough to do along the Vancouver HOHO route to justify a 2-day pass? In some cities such as Washington, DC and New York City, there is so much TO do that a 2-day pass is definitely the way to go if you have the time for 2 days. Is Vancouver much the same way or is a single day pass sufficient?

    Thanks so much!!!

  3. I'd almost forgotten about the Festivale! That was my very first 7-day cruise as an adult (I'd been on small 3-day cruises with my family as a child). I believe the sailing was August 25 - September 1, 1990. Wow that was a long time ago! We sailed round-trip from San Juan PR and if I remember correctly, stopped in Martinique, St. Martin, St. Thomas, Barbados and another port I can't recall off hand. I remember being so impressed that the cab drivers drove BMW's - LOL - but my most vivid recollection was how absolutely horrible the San Juan airport was back then (trying to change clothes in a bathroom stall when there was 2+" of water on the floor). I returned 15 years later and felt it couldn't have been the same airport at all because it wasn't at all bad. I mean it felt like a real airport - LOL!!!

I don't remember much about the ship though :(
